When is next Rush Event?

LOL, I would imagine no sooner than the summer. If your so ready to upgrade go for it. You are allowed to update your TC even when theres not a rush event.

Agree with Dvicious. If you're ready to move to the next age, it might be a good idea to move up, and get the troop upgrades that cost food out of the way in the meantime. If you do that, you will be better prepared to take advantage of the oil based upgrades during such a rush event. Not a bad idea at all!
If you're pretty much maxed out with the current age already, this move will also allow you to take advantage of the weekly discounts better too - the next age will unlock a whole lot of upgrades that you can take advantage of in the meantime.

I doubt there will be any rush events this year. There's been no hint or chatter of Space Age unlike last year when hints of CWA were leaked and forums lit up. Then rush events were put on to seed more higher levels.

Rush events are done to prep the target pool for the new age to be released. I just dont see it happening this year.

Last year summer rush was not followed with a new age

BS!....it was followed soon after by a single Atomic Rush and quickly there after by Winter of Ages when CWA was released a few weeks into WOA. The entire time from Summer start through CWA release chatter and hints on CWA was very high.

The whole point of all those rush events was to seed more globals and atomics for CWA targets by pushing lower levels higher.

So this summer there will be chatter of SA. Then not release it till winter where they have another rush.
