Is there any point in such a long "preparation" period?
I can understand the war itself needs to last 24 hours so that everyone, wherever they are in the world, gets a chance to make their attacks. However, I can't see anything you can do during the preparation period that you can't just do during the 24-hour War period. i.e. scouting enemy bases, donating troops to allies, discussing who attacks whom etc.
I love the addition of the World War, it's really added an extra dimension to what was becoming rather a dull grind with upgrades now taking over a week etc, so, as a result, I would love to see more of them than, at the very best, one every two days. We could even have multiple wars going on at the same time! It would give us something to do when we're tied up with upgrades...
If there is a good reason for the 24-hour preparation period and I've just missed it then please say....if not, would it not be better to just get rid of it?
