The community pretty much decided this tower is OP and bad for the game... Nexon just see short term dollars and have no respect for the players.

Yep this is terrible. The most P2W thing so far in this game. Nobody liked the bazooka tower, everyone complained about how OP it was, yet now they sell it without even reducing the stats. This is how you guarantee that I won't ever spend money on your game again.

<shakes head> Beyond the obvious reasons fort this sucking is the fact that most of my alliance kept their towers for a rainy day war. So much for that being a surprise, since anyone with a credit card can stock up now if they want to PTW.

Unfortunately, they'll probably make quite a bit of money from this. Could be quite devastating to the game, assuming you can buy and store more than 1.

You've certainly lost any furniture purchase from this customer as it's clearly time for me to put this game on the back burner and look for a new base building game by a company that cares about their product.

That defeats the purpose of me keeping mine in my inventory. They didn't even bother nerfing it before putting it up for $15 a pop. I guess they're trying to force people to carry sabotages at all times.

Ridiculous. Overwhelming opposition to it on these forums, and they sell it for $25 without any stats change.

I guess they are making money on these sales, but they are far too over priced for me to even consider. Many times the rate is $5 to $10 per troop card. The only one I purchased is when they offered Khan generals for $0.99 each a long time ago. I bought 6. If they lowered the price, I think they'd make more overall, but guess they don't understand economics. They only sell to the rich.

I'm afraid it's you who doesn't understand economics... Nexon has more experience than anyone with pricing things. I bet they know exactly what the right prices are to maximize profit.

I don't like it, but it's the way things are... targeting the rich is what makes a game most profitable.

It just gets worse, outrageous! Nexon will start losing players if they continue down this route.. I myself am watching the effect this will have and am considering quitting already.. Nexon, listen to your customers!!!

They are selling something that costs zero to make. Priced high, they sell on average 1 to 10% of the players who can actually afford it. If they cut the price in half, perhaps 40% of the players can afford and are willing to buy it. That's still doubling your profit. Sell it for $3, and 90% will buy it, they still make the same profit, and more of their players are happy. They can certainly manipulate the price to make more or even the same while appealing to more players, but they choose not to.

I'm fairly certain it is, I went looking for the "guess what's gonna be in the next sale" post. Couldn't find it! Wonder why?

Clearly they care enough to remove anything talking badly about the bazooka towers, but don't care to address the community.

I've been playing for 1.5 years. I could just about stomach the extra villager building, but this is a must have. You simply can't complete without it. I'm not going to be forced into a purchase to continue playing, so I'll be finishing up my last war and quitting.

They can sell it for whatever they want, it doesn't cost them anything to make. Those rich players don't use the forums, so Nexon couldn't care less what we say because we do not generate their profit.

This is such an outrageous decision. I belong to an alliance where some players are big spenders and I must accept Nexon need to make money from the game but this is just downright pay to win. A lot of players are going to quit, this is bad for everyone. I'm absolutely gutted.
