10 players just joined my alliance in 24 hours, what’s going on?

6 joined within minutes of each other. All but one are below classical age, only one is the atomic. I don’t mind but it’s odd, usually I’d have one joined per year.

We have no problem attracting low level players. All I have to do is set medal count to 0.

This is usually the linchpin for mass player joinings. Set our medal count to zero, and depending on the number of slots you have available, ten or more members will easily join in less than a day, the majority of them being low-level. It’s been happening for years in every alliance I’ve ever been a part of, so I think this is the right guess.

I do too but since it’s a small alliance with a few of my friends, my brother and I, we didn’t even make 10 members to get in to the war. I’ve been playing this game since almost the beginning I’ve never participated in the war before. I switched allegiance right before the war was introduced.

Anyways, I just hope it’s not a scam

Could just be new/young players hoping to get some alliance help & troops to help them grow. No harm in that. :)

I mean you can always get irons by switching medals to zero.

Thats not what it is, it’s veteran alliances breaking up as people exit the game, sending higher level refugees down the ranks. It happens every time they add some major p2w element. Each time it’s the last straw for a ton of players. Silo, museum, rebalance, rebalance, rebalance, war matchmaking “fix”, etc.
