Will everyone get 8 troop spaces once the 2nd airstrip is built, or is this only for Space Agers?

Ps: never mind. Another post suggested another airstrip gives 3 troop space, but probably needs upgrading a few levels first.

With further building additions - Nexon needs to increase time limit for QV and 5* as well.

I would like to add some paratroopers to my combo, but I think I won’t be able to do it any near soon. It requires about 12 upgrades of transport, and my armory will be overloaded after the SA transition. So, it will be fighters with that “apocalypse now” music.

Fighters aren’t going to be what you remember mate. With an increase in air defence power, and a decrease in fighter damage and hit points... You won’t be able to spam them like you currently can. It looks like bombers are going to become the new meta pretty soon

Here’s what I haven’t figured...

CWA airstrip with all the library research has capacity for 5...

So somebody help me with the math here?
How do two airstrips have capacity of 8...?

Did they say if they were reducing the capacity of our first airstrip?
or if the second one can only hold max 3?

A single airstrip gives +3 space, library research gives +1, and Amelia capstone gives +1. Library and Amelia capacity bonuses have no relation to the number of airstrips.

From what I understand, it's three planes in each airstrip, plus the extra two planes you get from the library and Amelia

Only if they let crashing planes do damage when they hit a building.

Agreed it’s really frustrating to spend the entire battle smashing defense to prevent troop loss just to time out before you steal the resources.

It’s in the announcement section tin posted planes will lose hp while sam’s and anti air guns will gain dmg

yes i heard tin say this on the livestream. they will compensate for the extra plane-space by weakening the stats on planes and making air defenses stronger. how much weaker the planes will be and how much stronger the air defenses will be is still in question.

-Players oftenly use all decoy tactics.
-Engineers are no longer needed
-initial 2 decoy tactics to spawn almost all spawning structures
-3 gen 3tank destroyers lures all spawned units and missile silo, planes, blitz, few troops and remaining decoy tactics takes care of the rest
-No troop tactics required for a 2min wipeout.
I hope they lower the damage of commandos to walls and defensive structures to half of their current atk dmg. Since they are immune to all traps

8 fighters and activate ninja dojo. Line up 5 raiders and 10 footies for the aftermath. Fighters should be able to keep ninjas relatively harm free.

They actually ended up not reducing fighter HP, but they did reduce fighter base damage and increased the dmg vs defenders to 20x.
So fighters will not be as effective at taking out defensive buildings.

I have reinforced transport mk1 currently but am working on upgrading. It did cost me a good chunck of crowns but not too bad when I used all the speed ups. The second airstrip only needs to go to lvl 3 to get the 8 spaces though when the time comes to go to space age it may become an issue of training transports. Currently I'm using (2) transports and 2 maxed planes to raid and really thats all I use. I have my HT or whatever troops but Im just being very meticulous about where Im dropping the paratroopers and 75% of the time I can get 5 stars though obviously still avoiding the super maxed bases as I always did before. So far it's working really well and as much as you can set up bases as well as possible but the 6 paratrooper drop per flight is somewhat unconventional. I also drop main army and keep dropping the paratrooper alongside them just to make a massive fighting force.

For war I haven't used the dual transports but have used 1 transport and 5 planes. It's been a some tough tough matchups where the other side is going all out troop card loading so don't want to take the chance and be overwhelmed but I'm sure with adjustments it'll be good.

I havent changed my strategy much because the only decent planes I have are my maxed out atomic fighters, I lll probably start working on bring my bombers up to par next and work them in.

I wonder if the increase in plane capacity was enough to bring all the salty players back that quit after the rebalance.
