First one I noticed. When donating troops there is no “retrain button”. You have to manually rebuild your troop deployment. After a battle the retrain works just fine, just not after donating to allies.

really? i found a bunch of game killing bugs in the first hour.

1) dead zones on map caused by snow prevent building placement

2) ht shoots over wall when targetting bastion
3) tactic used in mp not showing in retrain window
4) troops being retrained are killed off when offline
5) tapping on text box to chat opens alliance info window
6) gens are not available to deploy in war even when activated
7) auto promote is actually kicking ally members
8) failing to connect to server on game load but game still loads
9) invisible shipments not appearing on map but visible in editor
10) replays no longer available in war
11) sharing battles is now disabled
12) ally donation bug still exists and now much worse

and list goes on and on

9.1 is by far the worst update ever.

After my last WW fight, I used video retrain... the Offensive Missile Silo and the last War Tactic, I used, hasn't been retrained.

War tactics are not always showing up under retrain either.

I also have the retrain button purple arrows thing show up occasionally when there is nothing to retrain and I am 100% full

Worst bug is where you do video retrain after a war attack, it retrains everything but decoy. Then.sometime in the next few minutes, regardless of what you do they all disappear - even ones that didnt get killed.

9.1 was also supposed to move the Parliment laws summary screen into the Parliment instead of force feeding to tou at every login but that never happened.

In all the years Ive played this game I have never seen a bigger mess of an update than this one. Jammed a whole bunch of flashy new content into the game without even testing it.

The game is pretty much broken now.

I can no longer request for troops or chat to my alliance after the update. Customer service didn't help at all so now i have to war without the extra troops. It's a joke.

concerning the retrain screen showing you lost all units while you lost say 2 zooks and a commando, here is a quick workaround....

close the retrain screen
tap on a barracks
tap on retrain button
this time the retrain screen will show the correct amount of lost units

I've been playing for over 5 years and I've always discounted the whole "game is unplayable" hyperbole, but this time it is a correct assessment.

War is difficult at best, with many donations, when you're allowed to donate (please wait...), being lost and chat messages, when chat is working, being missed due to back log. Retrain is glitchy, doesn't retrain tactics or missile silo, and often doesn't retrain all troops. This is easily the worst update I've seen in my time with the game.

I have been getting network connection errors that wipe out my entire army and about half of my air forces.

I wasn’t attacking a base. I didn’t donate troops. I just look at a base, get a network connection error and *poof* I lose almost all my forces.

This has happened 7 times since I downloaded the patch on Monday.

Anyone else having this happen?

It mostly seems to happen if I’m looking at a base in World Wars or watching a replay.

I have players reporting that the request troop button is gray.
Another player lost his attack button and cannot do his WW attacks.

My alternate account has no way to exit the University after looking at the research. The red X is gone. I have to force close the game and reopen.

The forum has been quiet lately and it's disappointing that it's bugs and f*ckups that bring out the activity.

Another few bugs to add to the list:
1. Just completed the Burj building. It's giving me 8-something percent reduction on new upgrades (including traps!) but existing upgrades aren't reduced.
2. My Gunpowder alt now has 6 troops in the Merc camp - out of a maximum 4.
