A Newbies perspective

Howdy everyone. Quick background. Ten of us from another game grew tired of what is known as engineering. So one of us found this game and started playing it. After he decided he really enjoyed it he welcomed anyone from our other game to try it out. Nine more followed. Currently we are 10-1 in war. We have had a few wars where the other team tried and one where their levels were just too high for us to overcome but overall the war is ok. I would just like to point out that we think that you really need to have replays available for these war attacks. You have no way of knowing where your base is weak and how you could have improved upon your attacks. I would suggest even if you don't want replays available during war at least make them available after war.
And another thing. Why can't you when visiting an ally or even an enemy can't you click on a building and see it's level or range? It would be nice to be able to see stats on other players too. This is just something fun to do while passing the time waiting on troops to build.
Anyways, nice game and we are having fun, for now.

I have the WIKI bookmarked. It does help but also found a mistake. Would be cool if the manufacturer could give all the stats to someone there so all of the stuff could be put in correctly. I thought I was going to be able to get another set of walls from ramparts so I gave the previous upgrade some crowns to get to it but then found out that that upgrade was something like 2.4 million. I can't even hold that much.
Thanks for the invite but we tried the old merge thing in our other game and well let's just say it put a bad taste in our mouth. We have 12 players, 1 leader, 9 co's and 2 allies.
Speaking of allies, I really don't see a good way for peeps to find good alliances in this game. I think they should have it to where you can when looking into an alliance, be able to see the alliance's stats and individual stats. Maybe a global chat too for peeps to look for girlfriends and alliances. lol

First thing, welcome to the DomiNations community. Second, this is really relatable. But however they don't play frequently due to work. I currently have 4/7 ally mates (not including me) who I know or who are related to one in real life. Originally, we were supposed to have 5. Problem is that at least 2/5 I think have problems with base. Idk how can I tell them that it's not like Hay Day or SimCity. Some are limited in English and I can only speak limited/poorly in their language.

If this small problem is not related, sorry...

I think we just got a war where their top five should easily crush all ten of us for an easy victory. We shall see. But ya, our Alliance is called Forever Rushed and my ign is the same as it is here. During the daytime (usa daytime that is) it not too busy there though.

Cool one sinner. I have just moved my second "King Henry" for a visit and a war so will be great to have him stop in after that so two to three days. I'll add Forever Rushed to his alliance book marks . That's cool about your times as I'm in the Southern Hemisphere and normally have time during my days more than nights.

Howdy Sinner,

I dislike the idea of being able to see a buildings stats. Some people spend a lot of time in research at the library and more importantly at the University. It would be disappointing if their enemies could scout your base ahead of time and see you have say plus 18% HP and Plus 3 % damage on your Mortars.

Just my thoughts.

Ha. I didn't even think of the stat thing. Good call on that. But how about seeing ranges or just a description of the unit. I still get confused on some of the objects I'm seeing and don't want to go to wiki to explore what they all are. I'm sure it will come with time.
