Hello everyone! I was wondering what would be a good army composition as AA Germans. Let's assume all my units are fully upgraded: what would be the best composition? Thanks in advance!

15 commando, 8 bazookas
4 decoys, 3 sabotage (use them sparingly)

No mercs, no generals, no TTs

Normally, when you master the army combo, you will be able to 5 star bases up to 260-270 level (even with rocket arsenal)

Casual AA raiding : 6 HT 2 Bazookas 3 Infantry OR 5 HT 8 bazookas 3 infantry. The second option could net you faster raid times but you risk losing units and may have to retrain from time to time. Not as often as the first option though!

War : 15 commandos 8 bazookas but as you get better you’re gonna need less commandos and might even mix it up for efficiency!

This is interesting stuff as I am CW 259 and have only been MP player. But I recently was asking about alliances and WW. It’s interesting the different troop deployments you are using depending on whether it’s MP or WW. Could I get somebody to explain why HTs in MP but not in war? Are they too slow??

I don't know about anyone else but I switch between the two.

I find the Commando/Bazooka combination is better at taking down bases much stronger than mine, but I inevitably lose a few troops. So I'll only use it if I have to attack a really strong base in war (where losing a few troops isn't a problem as long as you get five stars)

In multiplayer you can skip the really difficult bases, so the Heavy Tanks combo is good because you can smash weaker bases without losing any troops

Yep, it is as Rogue Squirrel explained. Army composition depends on your assault goal. If you’re just raiding for resources then you want to stick with an army composition that doesn’t require often retrains like HT+Fighters which lets you go on MP back to back! Of course you would pass on bases with strong air defenses and reloaded traps but hit bases your HT and fighters can easily take care of. In war however, your goal is to maximize destruction- where gaining stars outweighs the cost of losing troops!

HT/Fighter still works in wars in certain cases but it all depends on how strong your museums/uni vs the enemy base you’re targeting!

if you’re still not in any alliance, I recommend traveling a little bit and watch replays in wars to see attacks of all sorts! The best part is, you can analyze each attacks and see what worked and which didn’t
