Could someone explain how it’s possible for a player to have hundreds of thousands of XP already? Even in my Group Leaderboard, the #1 dude somehow manages to rack up thousands of XP almost magically. What gives? And why did they not weight Stars earned in battle more heavily?

It’s pretty easy to spam donations and upgrade artefacts. When you grind hard and have your entire alliance requesting, burning, then requesting troops again, you can rack up XP.

My own group leaderboard is very quiet at GPA. I have 3,960 (lost about ~1.25-1.5k XP due to bugs), second place has 1,000. What a competition this is.

The top of the Leaderboards are over 300,000 XP....even with grinding, how is this possible? Museum Artifacts only get you 100 XP per upgrade. How is this possible? The dude even in my Group Leaderboard has over 34,000 XP. Even with hard grinding and a few Museum Artifacts, how is this possible?

Mathematically 50k an hour is possible with several players grinding donations off each other at once. Skilz ftw!

It’s the same in GPA, where you can’t get oil in any capacity, lol.

Hey, Cannibals, suggestion — how about I join your alliance and we commence a mutually beneficial grinding campaign? :p

Cannibals - I don’t see how that would be possible. 50k an hour? No way. The only thing I can figure is some players have like 10 accounts and they are focusing on maybe one or two of their accounts to be at the top. Not very sporting in my opinion. Even with that, I can’t see it unless they are burning crowns to quickly retrain and then donate to their other accounts who are then just dumping the troops and then requesting troops again. But so many crowns would be burned it seems counterintuitive.

This is why Nexon should not have weighted Troop Donations so heavily. Instead, they should have weighted Stars earned in battle more heavily. At least that would have given folks with one account a sporting chance.

French can build 180 infantry a minute with 3 barracks. That’s 10,800 an hour x 5 exp per unit = 54k exp per hour. Ask your alliance mates to spam requests and dump to campaign and you can maintain constant throughput.

Persia, I’m not bothering with the comp. At the lofty medal levels we cruise at, the only prize that’s better than what we get every day from the daily chest is the artifact, and I’m pretty sure it will be a spamfest right at the end with the winner determined by random interwebs queueing.

The winners will be those who draft behind their allimates until the very end.

Cannibals - We can agree to disagree. In my opinion, what you are suggesting is not probable. It takes time to train troops, dump them, request, etc. The only way what you are suggesting is remotely possible, is if the dude has 10 accounts and 8 accounts are requesting, and one or two of his accounts are filling. Like a factory conveyor belt...only way. So that’s who will win, the guy with 10 accounts or the guy with deep pockets. Nexon should have weighted Stars earned in battle more heavily than troops donated. It’s too easy for someone with 10 accounts to game the system in regards to troop donations.

Not sure why you are focused on one guy. I ran a short test with 4 of my alliance mates. They spammed requests and dumped troops in campaign while I trained and donated. 4800 exp in 10 minutes.

Cannibals - I’m not focused on one dude...I’m talking about process in general. Not fair at all, and clearly will favor those with multiple accounts. Nexon needs to make the Events fair, or only those with multiple accounts and/or serious OCD will be interested. Lol. Why did they weigh the troop donations so heavily? Makes no sense. Weigh Stars earned in battle more heavily...that would be fair and not favor those with multiple accounts.

This event seems less like something worthwhile and more like bragging rights to the ones that finish. And what are the chances that the ones who finish are players that have, should we say, circumvented the rules? :D

I've just completed 1940 Blitzkrieg. The rewards were 5 troop cards. Now that's a reward worthy of all my efforts. I hope the rewards for completion of Blitz are as equally appealing.

Yeah you can't finish blitzkrieg without buying the pass, so those 5 troop cards weren't 'free.'

I paid for the pass. I just done The Blitz. The rewards were an airplane blessing and 10 troop cards. 4 for ground troops and 6 aeriel troops(3 bombers and 3 night hawks). Not bad. Looking forward to the next goal to be unlocked.

Actually not too bad.
However maybe it's just me but the concept of paying for 'throwaway' troops is just throwing away money. I would prefer to pay for permanent things, like permanent changes to my base. I hope the permanent rss boosts are there forever and not just for the event.
