Aiming at own troops taken over with Betrayal

Hello,

This is my first post.

During one of my last battles I took over a heavy tank. The tank had full hp. My own troops started firing at it at almost same time, when I used betrayal to take it over.
After the tank was mine its hp went down unbelievable fast. There was no enemy tower in that area, that could have caused this hp loss. It seems that my own troops continued to fire and have finally destroyed my heavy tank within a few seconds.

For me it seems, that betrayal has not cleared the targeted heavy tank. Can anybody confirm this behavior?

Regards,
Armin (Leader of Hannover 96 II, Germany)

It depends on what level Betrayal you have. I've been playing around with them lately, unfortunately my Betrayal is the initial one you get in enlightenment(I'm Industrial). The reduction in hp and speed makes them practically useless. Judging by the attacks on my base Betrayal only becomes worthwhile at Global or higher level.

Betrayal reduces the HP and the DPS of the unit that you "Betray".
With upgrading your Betrayal tactic to higher level the HP & DPS reduction reduces.

I know about the basic behavior of betrayal.

It was not the initial loss of HP, but the remaining HP went down until the heavy tank was destroyed, while there was no enemy tower and almost no enemy troop close to it, which could have caused the speed of HP loss. The animation showed that my troops, which targeted the tank shortly before betrayal, were still firing - at whatever, I do not know. Therefore I had the feeling, they were still shooting the heavy tank.

Thx anyway.
