Unless a player specifically searches for a letter or number, general "open setting" searches yield nothing. My alliance has been hemorrhaging members due to inactivity with zero new oncoming members. This is problematic as that we've gone three weeks now with fewer active participants needed to submit a war request.
Please update the alliance search feature to prioritize alliances to populate when a user defines zero search criteria and/or minimal criteria. It wouldn't hurt, either, to prioritize alliance populations to include, at top of search, older active alliances with member deficiencies. This way, active players who've suffered membership hemorrhaging may continue to grow their alliances.
