Alliance troops as defence in TC

The answer has been nigh on impossible to find, but a post by Eddie F1 (post #8 https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexo...d-strategies/462683-should-you-defend-your-tc) confirmed my suspicion that the Alliance troops do act in defence when you are offline. Subsequent testing within our alliance proofed this to be the case.

My question though; My TC troops spawn on 4 seconds. What is the timer for alliance troops, immediate or also 4 seconds?

Which brings me back to my post (https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexo...6-empower-the-alliance-and-other-nice-to-have) where the type of alliance troop that you request is very important. You don't really want raiders to do defence.

Raiders on defence are really good. Their stats on defense are not their stats on offense. A good reinforcement defense will have 2 raiders/motorcylces to take out bait infantry. Of course gattling guns and cannons are best but mottos are #3 on my list

Mmm, some food for thought then.

Do you know if they spawn immediately on TC attack?

The troops start to spawn after 4 seconds but they come out one at a time and can be picked off

Annoyingly all TC defenders + Allies stop defending while upgrading the TC - probably a Health & Safety issue with all that builder scaffolding and rubble lying around, they might get injured.

Yeah, had the same annoying thing with my castle being upgraded while hoarding too much gold. It still hurts, thinking about it.
