Animals coming out when all forest cleared?

Even though I've been playing a long time, none of our players has all their forest cleared out. One of my guys is asking me if animals will keep coming if all forests are gone. My obvious answer was yes, but from where? Anyone has first hand experience?

That's what I thought, thanks for the reply. My guy wanted some kind of confirmation before cleaning out the last forest.

I've had all of mine cleared for a long time. At the time when I had only one forest portion left, all of the animals spawned in (and remained located in) that portion. However, once I removed that portion, they immediately started spawning from random spots, and wandered throughout the entire base perimeter.

Yes, but it can be on any of the non-water sides just like the animals, and they become harder to find because they're constantly behind buildings or anywhere on the very edge of the forest line lol
