Adding another multi player component

I’m still ironing out the details of this idea but the general concept is there. Right now we can gain resources in one of three ways. First is to collect from resource producing buildings, second is to attack others in multi player and third is from war. My proposal is simple; it is to add an additional layer to the multi player portion of the game. I am still working on a name for this but for now I will just call this “The multi player loot league”

Here is how it works.
-First, the league will operate much like the current multi player league except you are only allowed to attack those that are in the same age as you.

-Second, the league will refresh after a week so that everyone starts back at zero again.

-And last you are able to choose which base (town or war) as your “multi player loot league” base for others to attack.

The loot that would be available would be similar to the amount you would see if you were to attack the same age person in war. Also the loot you receive is dependent on the percentage destruction you did and you must win the attack in order to receive the loot. So if you were to attack someone and get 2 stars and got 43% destruction, then your loot gained would be 43% of total loot available. No win, no loot. During the league you make attacks and build up on the loot you get from the battles you win but that loot can’t be collected until the league is over (1week). In the meantime if someone attacks you and wins then they can gain both the preset loot that is available on your base plus earn a small percentage of the loot you have built from your wins. However, if they loss you can gain a small percentage of their loot too. After the week is over you get to collect all your earnings and you also get an additional bonus depending on where your final place was in the league. The higher up you were the bigger the bonus - maybe you even get to choose your bonus, like NTG.

The idea behind this is that you could earn a substantial amount of loot during that time and ideally more than enough to fill your resources. My guess is that a new building, possibly “the treasury” could be added in which would store all your “multi player loot league” loot. The cap on the treasury would have to be very high, much higher than your current market/mill/ refinery levels. The nice thing about this is that there is no raiding. It’s purely an attack and you must win that attack in order to take home the goods.

I understand that this game, from a resource perspective, gets tough later on in the higher ages. So instead of nerfing troops or tactics or changing the elements of raiding or whatever changes that has been put forth I vote on adding options. Not everyone would have to participate, and yes your earning wont show unit the league is over (1 week) but the amount you could earn would be much greater than any multi player battle. Not only will your loot gains from this be very satisfying but it will also help you practice your strategies and skills.

I like this idea a lot. I would also say that because it depends on good attacks, it should also depend on good defense. Hence if you volunteer for the Loot League, yes you can win a lot of loot, but be prepared to lose a lot if your Loot base is rubbish.
