According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the past few years have seen an unprecedented rise in displaced persons, with over 65 million people forced to flee their homes. Particularly for those who do not find sanctuary in a friendly country, the future can be bleak. Many people end up stranded in refugee camps for years, with limited or no access to health care, education, or opportunities for jobs.

To do our part to assist those people struggling to survive amidst these kinds of brutal conditions, Big Huge Games will be donating all our proceeds from Crown purchases for a 24-hour period to the American Refugee Committee. The ARC earns the top four-star rating from Charity Navigator, and has a 35-year history of helping the world’s most vulnerable populations. Players purchasing crowns in 99 nations across the globe contributed to a donation of more than $50,000 to the American Refugee Committee to help their efforts in pursuing new and better solutions to humanitarian challenges for refugees and communities in need.
