Attack does not match defense log.

I was recently attacked by a player who got a 2 Star Victory 50% and quick victory but the game for unknown reasons gave him a five-star victory and all my available resources. I was wondering if I could get my 2k in oil that the game stoled from me?

I think this has to do with a glitch in the replays. I’ve see this a few times with the war replays

The replay was correct the defense log is the one that was off there is no way he could have five starred my base with what he had.
I also had Industrial Age cannons in my town center that would have wiped out his troops if he had gotten close enough too trigger it to spawn.
Furthermore the resources taken from me was that of the defense log. I had 37K in oil storage before signing off and 35k in oil when I signed back in I also had a 15 hour peace treaty instead of the 12 hour peace treaty I would have gotten for the two star defeat. Upon signing back in my donated troops where still in town center without using sabotage there would be no way his troops could have pulled that off. So the game basically robbed me of 2k in oil 200k in gold and 100k in food and gave it to my enemy which is bull crap it needs to be investigated and fixed. I can post the replay up in my Alliance if one of the Nexon moderators wants to check it out.

What is the purpose with replays if they are not accurate. This happens all the time. We often see it in war replays where someone easily 5-stars a base but the replay shows 3-4 stars and a completely different scenario. Having replays to watch is a great feature but having inaccurate replays to watch is just frustrating.

I agree I've had many times were the replay doesn't match what actually happened in the game. But this time the replay was accurate but the defense log was wrong as you can see from the pictures he brought 148 troops into battle he lost a 148 troops it's pretty much impossible to lose every troop but still pull off a five-star victory. Another impossibility is winning against someone who is a higher level with the troops he had and the base layout I had. I win against many people who are an age and 30 to 40 levels higher than me.

If you had a 15hr treaty doesn't that mean he 5 starred you? (granted it's hard to understand with the foot troops he used). When you factor in your TC troops still there, something's not right though.
Anyway, I've even seen replays of my own attacks differ from the battle I made. I replayed an attack of my own, just to recheck something. My 5 star attack was replayed as a 96% 4 star attack.
The replays are definitely flawed.

This used to be limited to minor timing glitches at the end of the replay and 1 star difference at most, but recently I've seen numerous cases where the replay is wildly different from what was recorded. I just watched a barely 2 star replay that was recorded in war as 4 stars. I've seen at least 4 cases that were wildly off in the recent fee weeks.

Nexonm: stop developing anything new and focus on bugs! Your technical debt is overwhelming. You still haven't even gotten chat back to 100%, don't move forward. You need at least an entire release cycle dedicated to bugs, refactoring, and code sanity. Tame the beast that's gotten away from you.

I'm dropping my play store review of this game to 1 star on account of the heinous bugs.

The replays are not to be trusted, Your battle log shows the correct results I think. Im enlightment age and roman and have 137 troopspace. So Industrial age should be around 152 on troopspace. He used his nations troops and they have a lot of hitpoints when fully upgraded.

I'm under the assumption that replays are not taking into account either blessings, museum artifacts, university upgrades, or all three.

I've had the same issue in the past. NEXON replied that there was neither cheating, nor replay bug. But the servers (and our devices) would be overloaded by displaying the actual replay. So there is a sim of what happened based on the attackers decisions, but the replay is "a battle from scratch on its own", which could lead (fortunately not very often) in slightly different outcomes. I think that the replays purpose is fulfilled anyway.

TinSoldier please correct me if I'm saying something wrong

I once attacked a base in multiplayer that was much stronger than mine and looted over 1 million in gold and food and 8000 in oil. I was so pleased with myself that I wanted to share the replay with my alliance members, but when I looked at the replay it showed all of my troops getting wiped out in the first minute and zero loot. I'm pretty sure that if the guy I attacked watched the replay he probably thought I was cheating.

But I think you're right Saruman the White - the servers can't store all the replays as they happen so they are re-created when we choose to watch them. Unfortunately the slightest little glitch in their re-creation can lead to a totally different outcome.

I also did a complain about the replays. They told me they are based on artificial intelligence. And there working on it. In my personal opinion a recall is a recal a drop of troops is a drop of troops. The outcome should always be the same. If not we have something to think about.
just bits and bites.

I keep demanding to generate our replays based on mother servers information, not based on our handsets 😕
But apparently that work will be too ''astronomical'', quoting one 😆.
Well, as long as it doesn't occur on war attacks I can accept it. Please, not war attacks 😕

Why care about replays, at least in mp?
A replay is looking back, l prefer to move on while looking forward.
Onward to the next match, l say.

Yes it’s technologically impossible for Nexon to store and replay all those three minute videos so they have to give simulations of attacks instead, while calling them “replays”. And yes, even though when I started playing the game years ago the replays were accurate, now they aren’t because of that same technological impossibility, weird eh?. I figure once someone figures out how to do it, I’ll start a video streaming service and call it “Netflix”. What do you think? 🤔

Bump, any news on when replays are gonna be fixed? Been about a year now since they was gonna improve this. I can live with the multiplayer replays not being accurate but war replays, I mean, how to know what needs to be improved on your warbase when the battle log shows 3 stars while the replay shows 0. Can it really be so difficult to have accurate replays? Other games don’t seem to have any problem with this. Players are buying troop cards for wars, those money spent should more than enough allow Nexon to hire a programmer able to fix this.

lately our war replays are worse. They are way off from what really happened. It would be great to fix this issue
