I am a bit annoyed that it's had to get to the stage where I have to feel bothered to sign up to a forum to suggest this, but the match making within the world wars has just become ridiculous.
Ever since we made it to a level 8 alliance, the comparison between us and our opponents has been utterly mismatched.
Ill take a few notes for you from the current war (25per side):
- Their numbers 1-16 contain 15 atomic war bases and 1 global. Our 1-16 have 3 atomic, 10 global and 3 industrial.
- Their numbers 1-8 haven't yet attacked, however 4 of our top 8 have already been 5*'ed.
- Personally, my opposite number is 2 ages and 54 levels stronger than me.
i just think it needs revisiting. Im not saying it's not working just because we can't walk over everyone my alliance faces, but we can't even get competitive. And it's not just this war, it's a constant issue. Our best players are starting to stop participating in wars because it's so unbalanced.
I also appreciate because my alliance is level 8, that we are now being paired against a lot of other level 8 alliances, but there has to be reasonable comparisons in strength, as far too often it's a total mismatch.
I think there should also be some calculation done in terms of match making to prevent alliances using 3 or 4 classical/Iron Age members who don't attack at any point in order to get weaker opponents.
