Base layout and defending for dynasty league

Dear all,
Just wondering whether here are some players that are in dynasty league.
As you all know the "no opponent could be found" issue as well as the 1-medal only rewards are a real mess and frustrating.

I personally find it very hard to compensate medal losses. I can't recall when I last defended successfully. What I see though is that my traps are mainly used on replays telling me that I got attacked by people using the force exit exploit.

Thus my general question, could anyone in dynasty league defend successful yet? Or will everybody use force exit?
Second, if so, what base layout could be successful to limit at least the medal loss by not getting beyond 3 stared?
Sometimes it looks so easy how these British guns attacks rush through my base or how easy Koreans put a lot of betrayal and sabotage on the base and take it out without many losses.

I would really appreciate some tips and tricks on base design in order to limit medal losses that are so hard to compensate. Pls note I can't manage max walls, still stuck building my base and lvl 10 walls.

Thanks
Gold

I am only Empire but I defend many times against Dynasty players. Yes, good base layout help, Forbiden City help, alliance troops in defense help immensely, and good anti air network too. I wonder if you ask in your alliance or if you are the lonely Dynasty one there!

And the force quit, yes very rare defend successfully. Often get it only if the attacker lose only 1-3 stars.

Hi Quang,
Thanks for your response. I'm very curious about learning from your base design, are you willing to share?
In my alliance I'm by far the highest league player, also the most advanced one, so nobody can share my problems.
I'm now at 3513 medals which is so crazy hard to defend. I got 5 stared two time yesterday which I can't believe, however on Friday I defended successfully for the very first time this year.
I'm looking forward to changing my base layout but am lacking ideas. For example the guys who have more than 4000 medals I suspect they somehow claim continuously peace treaties and never get attacked at all.

Thanks
Gold

You can look at my base, even copy it. Sorry I cannot explain the details of idea here.

Or you can post your base here and I can tell the obvious wrong.

5 star losses at those high levels must be hard indeed. At lower levels getting to hit the rare Dynasty base helps offset a bit lose.

No Title

i ve recently noticed that many players use layouts like this. so core architecture is the TC is surrounded by 4 segments of mortars/ballistas, HT defenders fill the gap (in case of betrayal they are shot quickly). TC and FC are separated by the castle.
have anyone of you tried this layout? how does it defend? are 4 or 5 star defeats less likely with it?

I see the good is Castle with 2 level 30 generals get good protection, the base has some compartments. The bad is defense get stretched because it is not a square base. And anti airs is easy to be destroyed..

It's an easy base to 5-star in war (because of using all tactics and mercs), but in multiplayer not so much, unless you're willing to throw everything at it and have the right troop mix. Brits/Koreans can easily 4-star this base though if they start at the alliance gate side and just work their way straight down.

Pushing again....
After the freaking upgrade there should be much more successful defenses out there showing whether bases are good or bad.

So I d appreciate if someone can share a good design for high medal ranges

Best thing I can recommend is to come join USA elite II and have a talk with one of our guys named "EN DEN". he's " the architect" as we like to call him. He doesn't join forums or chats, but only thru the game (personal reasons I think). His base layout help is without a doubt, extremely excellent.

He's at 3400 medals I think. Might be 3500, haven't checked today.
