Bear hunting error

The chance for fur for hunting bears has gone down from 80% to 40%. This needs to be corrected. Doesn't make sense to have the same chance as a bunny.

Hi TinSoldier. Great to see you active however, I think I speak for many others when I say there are more important issues we would like feedback on than bear fur.
All the current bugs, bad troop AI since forever, time frame for fixes, opponents dropping troops inside our bases, minimal troops granting 5 star victories, etc, are more important than the correct chance of bear fur,

Yep, my info screen on a bear shows 40% chance too and I have all library tech researched

Just had this response from CS:

Upon investigating your concern, we have verified that your current chance of finding fur of 40% already has the bonus of 20% from your Hounds research. With that said, the base chance of finding Fur from a Bear upon reaching the Cold War Age is 20%, which is unique to Cold War Age and compared to other animals.
We hope this has been clarified for you, and should you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

So CS essentially admits there are automatic hidden nerfs when advancing ages. I am astonished both mods responded to a relatively minor issue when players have posted so many bigger and pressing issues with the game with no response whatsoever.

It's mind boggling.

Why are you astonished? I don't think these forums appreciate what it's like to be a mod. TinSoldier is not a CEO, it's not like he can snap his fingers to make things happen but chooses not to. He's just a messenger, if the company chooses to ignore the questions/concerns he brings up, there is little he can do. Staying silent in a thread you don't know enough about is better strategy than airing dirty laundry about the company you work for.

In the Cold war age mankind has improved the textile industry and there are more synthetics used for making clothes, hence the need for less fur.

However, as good a job as TinSoldier and Nb4powerup are doing, we would like more responses ''in general'', not just to easy questions like ''why is my fur showing 40%''.
TS, NbP , I doubt anyone holds you two responsible for what goes on around here or for what goes wrong around here, despite some comments to the contrary, we really only want to hear from you guys a lot more.

Total silence from the mods after the CS response was posted. An explanation of WHY the developers felt the need to nerf the bears so hard in CWA would be appreciated. It makes no sense.
