This is not a cellular network issue because it happens across different operator networks and with different IMSIs.
If the game is "designed to be played only on WiFi" then that's just sad in today's mobile wold.
But this issue only started happening after the last maintenance update.
Also I did plenty of testing, when the game is experiencing this issue, the network connectivity is fine, browsing or streaming YouTube both work.
If you run a continuous ping there is no dropped packets but still game would drop when on LTE or 3G networks.
It has nothing to do with WiFi speed either, i intentionally capped my WiFi speed to 1Mbps uplink and downlink and can still play the game, but the game would drop on LTE when i have 3Mbps throughput and consistently 20ms delay.
This has nothing to do with LTE coverage either because I tested in different cities and within a building which has inbuilding DAS system and the game would still drop.
