Bullied by higher ranked players??

I am A high level player in the gunpowder stage. My defenses are maxed and my walls are at level 7. At one point I had 2,600,000 food yesterday and it went down to 1400000 within about 4-5 attacks from people in the enlightenment stage! That is completely unfair that I am an option to players a age ahead of ME?!!?! Wtf! This needs to be changed. I am all for people attacking an age up from them for a challenge but having the option to attack low levels is bullsh*t in a chefs salad! I remember I once got a opponent in the medieval age and yet again I am in gunpowder. Wake up NEXON and fix this crap before you lose more players!

I get your point, and I remember getting attacked by those more than one age above me. I wasn't a fan. (Though I upgraded my age as soon as I could, which is limited by level.)

It's interesting that your defenses are maxed for your age and you're still concerned about being attacked by those one age above you. This doesn't seem like a major concern to me. (No offense intended, I'm being sincere.)

Been there, done that. GP to EA is nothing when compared to EA vs IA maxed with planes and lvl 30 generals ;-)

That's how it rolls, pray on weaker, got beaten by stronger, multiplayer at it's best.

Only being able to attack players your own age or higher would help alleviate that problem. I suggested that in a different thread a while back. It does occur to me, though, that it might exacerbate the whole "I can't find any players to attack" problem that some seem to have at the higher levels.

Honestly, I don't know what the solution is.

Just keep in mind that the advantage for u is, u can also attack players in medieval, so 4-5 starring is possible.

lets set the advantages of attacking different ages in a row:

attacking a lower age : 4-5 star victory is easier to gain, will provide you with diamonds if you need them
attacking same age : 2-3 star victory, but you may find more loot, cause the market, mill, farms and caravans can store more. And these players have more expensive upgrades, so there might be more in stock.
attacking higher age : May grant you with more medals per win, as these players are sometimes higher in medal ranking, also more loot to get there.

Being attacked by a higher age player, completely wiping you of the face of your base (I like this sentence) will grant you with a longer peace treaty.

The amount of resources that a player can loot from you is the same, no matter what age they come from.
Also, anybody that wants to get a victory star, will eventually get it, no matter what.

So bottom line, its a bigger advantage to being able to pick your battle from 1 age down to 1 age up, then a disadvantage.

And there will be more bases to choose from at the end of the day (fear the NO OPPONENT message)

I personally believe in every age being able to attack any age, but... it should be less rewarding for a higher age/level base to attack and loot from a lower age/level base.

Believe me, defending your base against any attack is virtually impossible, you will be defeated at some time, the only thing you can do is damage control by protecting your precious resources(market and mill) and your storehouse for trade goods.

placing your TC outside as a gift for medal hunters, will make you keep more resources, placing it inside walls, protected by your defense buildings makes TC snipers skip your base and players with high level/age wipe you out.

So there is your choice of defense, TC in or TC out of your defense.

You cannot place your resource buildings and TC both in a defense position.....

I remember the struggle when I'm on GA. without training blessing it is so heart breaking when we lost some resources because of the time needed to collect that resources. I suggest to you to focus on getting the training blessing. Because the easiest way to protect the resource is to gather more resources that we lost.

Lower your medals, and put your TC outside the walls for easy peace treaty. If you're saving up to advance to next age, buy peace treaty if you have enough crowns and your caravans are maxed out.

Come on JRep, how will you be able to test your offense and strategy if you're just matched within your same age.
Would you be willing to miss all the challenge?
I still remember being hit by people two ages higher. That was really insane

Think I'll sacrifice my TC and forget about metals. I need to retain as much resources as I can because I'm saving for EA upgrade. Jane Monroe, if that player had enough resources yes I problem did attack them. I think the TC sacrifice will help me. Think I'm fine with the any age versus any age because it makes this game more of a challenge to advance through. Anyone interested in a fresh clan come join me @ ~_-KMF-_~

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but your base is very poorly laid out for a resource defensive standpoint. That that it would matter a whole lot in the scheme of things, but it doesn't look like a base that would deter most people.

If you upgrade your road, farms and caravans, (which most people skip) you gain more resource from them while on peace treaty then you can loose after being attacked.

And you may find yourself in a medal range where people use an attack with raiders and then forced closing the app.
At that point you should change your defense strategic into a protect resources strategy (to prevent hit and close app on your resources, resulting in no PT)

I know it's not the best build but I'm trying it out and so far I've just been attacked by medal hunters and getting pt after pt. I was able to save for the EA upgrade.
