Starter packs and estate should be offered in lower price.
Speed ups must be routinely given as rewards.
Crown sales are not offered in tiers, but as one time purchase, which is done regularly, e.g Weekend Sale, or Monday Madness Sale.
That's the simplest marketing method that could be implemented.

I predict that the Space Age house (it's due for one) will be sold as Starter Pack III for $29.99USD. And that will be Nexon's answer to "catching up".

NateTheGreat as an alternative what about a upgrade speed up pass. 1 time only purchase must be global or lower. lasts 30 days cuts all upgrade time by x %. It would get them get ahead but they would still have to do the work.
That’s an interesting idea.
What about something like removing the one age up/down for all ages IA and up? Bear with me. This would create a bigger pool, yes?
Yes CW/SA would be able to attack IA but I would expect a very low reward rate so it wouldn’t be worth it for CW or Space age players. Yes IA players would complain about the big guns steamrolling their base. But what if IA players could get a multiplier for their loot rewards?
Eg: IA attacks an AA base, it gets x2 on all rss gained. IA attacks a CW base, it gets x3 on all rss gained. IA attacks a Space base, it gets x4 on all rss gained.
There are lots of bases out there with exposed rss or poorly designed bases that could yield some easy rss for Industrial/Global players, then if you add a 2, 3 or 4 multiplier it should make for a very rewarding attack.
Just putting it out there.

I think Blood and I are just concerned about adding new players to the existing player base and at the same time keeping CWA players engaged.

I've recently started a new second account and it's so easy to get rss ( exposed inactive farms/caravans etc.). That's not my concern. I just want to be able to invite some friends to come play and in a few months (4-6months ) be CWA / SA but no one wants to spend 3 years catching up to my lv 230 CWA base.

That could be a good way to encourage lower players to move up and still have some of the learning curve. It would have to be 80% faster building upgrades, 30% faster troop upgrades, and instant town center upgrades. 24-48 hr upgrades in Enlightenment now 5-10 hrs and 8 day upgrades in Industrial would be 2.5 days. This would be a fairly comparable boost to the package I outlined but still some work required and more choice for the player.

Players might be able to upgrade 100 or so levels of buildings in a month ( 2-3 ages worth of upgrades) but need to do a lot of rss looting. Something like this would be a $40 value no more. The boost would go away after they use the instant Town Center upgrade from Global to Atomic.

I just think the current +3 citizen boost events that exist and cost of current crowns to building upgrade time are way too expensive.

Starter packs and estate less cost for lower age players yes. My classical age account got 3 hours of research upgrades for 5 videos not bad.

With my suggestion they won't have to wait 3 yrs, only wait until they get to IA.
Catching up to CW is an entirely different kettle of fish.
They can't get their cake and eat it too. 😁
