Can you provide an update on the network connection crashes

Is it possible to get an update on the network connection disconnect and subsequent crashes. It's not been too bad for me but for many people in the alliance it is happening constantly and they literally cannot play. Horrible experience for them. It's all over the bugs forum from players but I've been unable to find an official response recognizing it and it's not in the known issues posts either. Is it possible to get an official update so I can communicate it back to frustrated teammates?

I believe this is related to the error that is showing war attacks on the war map at significantly lower stars and destruction than what it is showing to players. For example, we've had many many 5* attacks, then when you look on the war map it will show something like 63% 2 star hits. It is happening every single war, without exception, to multiple members in 40v40 wars, so it should be very easy to reproduce on your end. We have logged probably 50+ cs tickets, for every instance of it happening with exact battle details. Yet still no response from CS other than 1) memory issues causes crashes or 2) its your wifi connection...neither of which are accurate or adequate responses.

Here's an official response that I got and I quote "it's on your end please try to make sure your connection is stable. Contact your provider for further information" ok so it didn't go quite like that but i can show u the screen shot it's very funny how it's our own problem not an issue on there end!!!! How ever on a side note have your players uninstall they reinstall that fixed most of the issues for my wife so they could try that

Its awful, mine crashed before a while and 2 of my mates in WW couldnt finish their attacks because of it!
My God do something with that :(

We just had two crashes in WW from two of our best attackers that might cost us badly in the dominations war tournament lol. Its crushing people in our alli.

I feel like as a leader Im having to spend more and more time convincing people not to quit because of things like this, rather than being able to have fun and teach.

What is even more insulting, is the automated response you get anytime you submit a ticket for a crash, basically attributing it to memory issues on your phone. Its clearly 100% a nexon issue, plastered all over this forum, and no one can get support through regular channels on it.

Another day, another round of horrid network crashes for so many people. Can we get confirmation that this is being actively worked? All I can get from support is that its either my connection or memory issues on my phone, neither of which is even remotely accurate.

Happened to me for the first time. I've had crashes before, but it usually just restarted the app. This time I got a network error at 44% damage about 1 minute in. Frustrating.

Oh and it was immediately able to give me information, so I didn't really lose connection.

Nexon can you please provide an update to your players. This is manifesting itself in one of two ways, 1) its a crash with spinning ring and then the network disconnect message, 2) its a spinning ring during a regular or war attack, the attack completes and looks great on our end, but then shows up in war as either not happening at all, or with dramatically reduced stars/destruction %s. In our current war it has happened on 3 of our first 30 hits, a 10% rate, so its very material. Sometimes it is worse.

Support has been 0 help on 10+ tickets sent in. They give an automated response attributing crashes to phone memory issues. The only official response on forums is that the connectivity problems were fixed on the 8th. Please help, or at least let us know you're aware of the issue and working towards a resolution.

If anything crashes have gotten worse. I just crashed twice within minutes, and a few of my alliance members are reporting same crashes in war.

In the recent war 3 attcks (out of 7!! till now) got different outcome in the Ww Battle report as it did happen in fact. The reult is -10 stars for us. It is next to unplayable, thanks a lot Nexon

We are now up to 5 crashes in the current war we are in, out of 35 attacks, all due to spinning ring/network related crashes.

Most probably we are going to lose a war by a very close score, where we have lost atl 15 stars (5 attacks) due to disconnecting on the result screen. I'm not talking about crashes during or before the battle, which cost us !only! 3 attacks. I'm fed up with it, no reaction from mods or admins here, or on the Known Issues & Bugs thread, CS ignores us completely even in well documented cases they are reluctant to act. What can we do?

Nothing, just quit and get back to real life...

Nexon everyone on our very active war team is trying incredibly hard to be patient through this issue. In our current war, we have 4 attacks out of our first 30 that have crashed. People are seeing 4/5 star wins on their end. Only to get back to the war map and see 0%, 7%, etc losses. While I enjoy making fun of our best players and their 7% defeats on the scoreboard, its small consolation for the affect this is having on overall morale. The only communication I can see on the forums from a Nexon employee is a post stating that the connectivity crashes are fixed as of like the 8th.

I really do love this game, but I literally have an entire alliance (who is ironically competing in the DNations Battles tournament finals this war lol) considering packing it up and moving on. War is what is fun for us and this is utterly game breaking. Can you please help us with some sort of communication.

For what its worth, we've also put in dozens of tickets with very specific examples of battles that have crashed and showed incorrectly. Support gives us the automated response still and attempts to close the ticket. Followup communication then always results in them telling us to check our wifi.

The utter and complete lack of response on this CRITICAL issues is mind boggling. Players are happy to be patient and support a game they love through thick and thin as long as we have some kind of information or timeline. As it stands now we have neither, and frustration is growing rapidly with each passing day and cut and paste response from CS, which I'm sure we can all agree on, are frankly insulting in how they fail to address to problem or communicate and steps of remediation along the way.

STOP BLAMING THE PLAYERS AND THEIR DEVICES OR WIFI! This hurts more than helps, please provide any kind of timely update to address or issues, even if it's "we are aware of the problems and are working on a resolution". This at least gives us a small piece of mind.

I'm a heartbeat away from sussing out every corporate contact information I can find and starting a massive campaign to encourage ALl players to forward this information as high up the food chain, to anyone willing to listen, and as often as we need until you give us some kinda of acceptable response. ANY RESPONSE FRANKLY.

Eventually we will find someone with enough business savvy to recognize how precipitously close this is to affecting you bottom line for years to come.

I have found that things improved personally. No crashes at all this week, only 1 messed up war attack.

It's never a good time when one of your favorite games is having issues and you just can't find where the issue is with normal troubleshooting. The dev team is always looking to improve game stability with each update while also pushing the game forward with features and content.

Crashes are significantly down since the 3.7 update where there was optimization completed. Unfortunately we know that this did not solve all connectivity cases.Crashing and connectivity issues can be caused by a myriad of issues. Sending in reports to our Support team with as much detail as you can including your device type, OS, and type of connection that you are using can help immensely when that info is passed onto the dev team.

So in short, the team is reviewing all factors that contribute to connection issues at this time. I don't have a specific timeline for when any fixes may be rolled out, but they will be talked about in any patch notes for future updates.

Thank you Seraphine for responding. You're right, crashes related to the previous memory issues are down dramatically and that is fantastic. However, a very distinct new crash was introduced in the most recent update. At least a dozen people in my alliance have had it happen multiple times, and the bugs and known issues forum has had it reported over and over again. It is related to a network disconnection....the game either produces a network disconnection error, and crashes....or in war, there is essentially a network disconnect that shows attacks going all the way through on the user's device, but somehow had disconnected partway through the battle and only records a fraction of what was done. For example I can have a 5* 100% win, but on the war map see that only 72% and 3 stars were recorded. This has happened every single war to us for the past 5-6 wars, to different people, so I am certain it can be easily reproduced. Maybe some sort of timeout thresholds were changed last update, I am not sure.

Do you know if the development team is aware of this issue and working on a solution? That at least would be encouraging news. I personally do not believe that any of my reports are actually making it to the developers, because the responses I get from support state that it is either memory issues on my phone (you fixed this with the 3.7 update), or a poor internet connection on the users end (also inaccurate).

They are aware of this issue. Like crashes, connectivity issues are also caused by numerous different issues. If the team is able to find a solution, once it's ready to go live it will be in the patch notes. :)

Support will ask and have you do various troubleshooting steps in order to try and find the root cause. Since many things can cause a crash or connectivity issue, they need to rule out certain ones before they can escalate it to the dev team.
