Cannot Find Opponent in Multiplayer Search

Since this morning, everytime I try to find a multiplayer opponent, it only tries 2 or 3 attempts (when I hit Next Match) then I get "No opponent could be found. Please try again later." It is bad enough that before this I had to "next match" 20-30 times (at 750 each!) to get a decent medal opponent (not 1/39!). Now I cannot get one at all!

How many medals do you have? wonder if you crossed some threshold into the no opponent zone...

That might explain things. I understand when you have that many medals (or more) it's hard to find an opponent in multiplayer.

I'm just curious why people complain about ''nexting'' all the time. I mean, it costs 750 gold right? You could next 10 times and it will cost 7,500 - peanuts. Even if you happen to ''next'' 30 times it will only cost 22,500. I'm currently at 2480 medals and a single TC victory gets me 77,000 gold - easily covering any losses. Granted, it's boring and annoying - and FRUSTRATING!! - but it's not the end of the world.

Why not join me below 2600 - enough bases to go around with great loot and 15+ medals!

Or you could join me in silver league. After getting my 1000 crown empire bonus, I was just tired of scavenging for rss and worrying about defense, so I jumped off the cliff and landed at 800-1000 medals, there is no better place to be. Sand, sun, gold, food.... cringing enlightenment bases that will serve your every whim......

on 2nd thought, you should all stay up there and hunt for glory, I've discussed it with my enlightenment age neighbors and they all "agreed" that there is not room for you down here right now....
