Change "under attack" login

I love this game, but one of the most frustrating things is when you want to play but can't log in because you are "under attack." Instead, why not allow the log in while under attack, but just freeze the resources at risk until the attack is over. Also, the building layout could be locked in at the start of the attack, so even if a player makes changes while under attack, it doesn't change the attack in progress.

yeah, this is getting really annoying that almost every time i try to login to the game i get a message that I'm either under attack, or am being scouted. I should be able to log in right away, and have the attack finish while I'm in game, just lock me from adjusting my city and/or speeding the resources that are available for looting, until after the attack is over, but don't stop me from playing the game when i want to play it.
