Oh man! I've been looking out for this for a year! I can't believe I missed it..I just googled for any info on civ 6 a week ago and came up nothing. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I loved civ 5, especially what Brave New World added, but hated The space game...downloaded, played it for a month and abandoned it. From the trailer it looks like they are keeping tourism in, which was my favorite addition. October 21st! I'll be calling in sick that week!!!

For my money, the best civ-type game out right now is Super Tribes. I know it's out for IOS and I think there's an Android version too. It's free, and it's really, really good. Great graphics and sound, rock solid programming (never hit a crash or bug), and really clever design. And when I say "free" I mean really free. There are extra tribes you can buy as IAP, but you can play the whole game without paying a cent and there are no timers or other pay-to-win crap like *ahem* certain other games I can think of.

I have happy memories of Civ and Civ II. Caused me to burn saucepans, which I haven't lived down yet!

I said that Beyond Space game sucked ass. Civ 5 was brilliant.
