Cold War Gifts Event!

For a limited time, Cold War Gifts are appearing on your base!

Celebrate the release of the Cold War Age by opening up some presents. iOS players have a chance to use the Ka-25 Assault Helicopter to decimate enemy defenses, while Android players have a chance to find the M67 Flame Thrower Tank to annihilate enemy defenders!

(Event lasts from 15:00 UTC 12/14 until 15:00 UTC 12/21.)

Where are the gifts and how can I find them in my base? Are these for all ages or for Cold War Age players only?

Update: I got my first gift a few hours after the above post. It appeared at the edge of the jungle like a pile of boxes And thankfully did not require any citizen to open

Everone gets something from this event regardless of their age. Each shipment has a chance of giving a CWA troop card. Finally got one myself just an hour ago

10 national trade goods. Thank goodness I don't participate in war, otherwise I'd have to use them for something. That and the latest Marco polo offers makes this a bumper day for skyman.

they revealed the chances in Domi Asia. (because they have to. they dont reveal chances for Marco boxes so Domi Asians cannot buy troop chests with their rubies)

choppers are 6%, spy is 11%, MRL 15%, everything else is 13-14%.

I got already 2 ARL army and 1 assault vehicle army. Great event. Of course there were some gold and NTGs, but still great rewards

The odds of getting anything better than resource shipments are very low. I've only gotten 1 army card in 6 tries or so.

This entire Cold war gift event has been nothing but a joke to me. i have received 2 gifts so far where it sounds like most people have gotten at least 1 per day. when i contact CS about this their response was because maybe i have to clear some debris first.... First, its kind of difficult to do that when you dont have any citizen available and second i have never had this issue before when we were getting gifts.

It's always been like that with the drops. You get no oil seeps during the event, and you don't get any drops unless you clear all existing trees.

Oil seeps are still here. Interesting though that in the past these drops were movable and you could keep them forever.

I've gotten 3 spies, 2 MRL Armies, and 1 Assault Vehicle Army so far. Not bad.

I don't think it's fair that their are unique units between IOS and Android users. IOS can get the KA-25 helicopters while android can get the flamethrower tanks. User of one cannot get the other.

Personally I'm happy with my vehicles and my gargantuan food bundles.
