The game was released for them not long ago so I expect they're hoping the marketing material will bring in new players and encourage current players to advance quicker.

I'm not sure whether faster training times will have any benefit if you struggle to find opponents in the first place. Alliance Wars sounds refreshing for once but all the cheater alliances will undoubtably destroy those that are playing honest.

I don't understand why players that have cheated in maxing their base and reach the top leaderboards using cheat attacks only get a temporary ban and a medal reduction penalty. They still keep their maxed base in the end.

Their bases should be nuked to the Stone Age.

The concept of a temporary ban for cheaters is mind boggling. There needs to be zero tolerance for hacks. If nexon/bhg wants to let these people continue playing, then yes, nuke them back to the Stone Age. And if they max themselves again quickly without purchasing crowns, issue a permanent ban.

It's ambiguous (at least for those of us who can't read Korean), but with Ironangel talking about testing a "different kind of matchmaking", it sounds more like alliance wars to me.

Yep and in space age you can upgrade them to biker mice from mars, cuz that's how it legitimately happend.

that would be cool upgrade. and our troop soldiers would evolve to jedi, with Japanese soldiers would go Dual wielding jedi, and Germans would have double bladed saber Sith (darth maul squadron).
Saboteur could evolve into Ewok
French HC from tanks could evolve into mounted Gungans.
Ranged troops could go to storm troopers (with current AI it would actually fit).

pity you can't mod that game, I would totally switch to 'Republic' or 'Empire' nation even if it would mean tossing 10 quid to BHG.
