Council Committee Update

Greetings Leaders,

We have some updates regarding issues around some of the Committee Bonuses.

Explosive Sniper AoE

First, Churchill’s Explosive Sniper Tower, we confirmed that this bonus is indeed working as far as implementing AoE damage in all encounters. We have discovered that there is a visual bug that can lead to a situation where the explosion animation doesn’t appear.

For awareness, the AoE has a very tight radius, units will have to be in very close proximity to one another to receive the AoE damage. Additionally, the explosion animation can be missed in the chaos of combat.

With the actual explosion effect, however, it doesn’t 100% appear every time that the AoE damage is applied, this aspect alone is not working as intended, and we’re investigating a fix. Unfortunately, watching via replays and friendly challenges, you can’t confirm that it works, but we did notice that the enemy units impacted by this AoE will die faster, which is to be expected, and sometimes show a lower health bar when standing next to a unit hit by the sniper tower. The visual can appear when you are attacking, but as mentioned it isn’t as consistent as we intended.

Musashi Signal Flare

We have also confirmed that the Musashi Committee Bonus (Signal Flare) is working as intended but, unfortunately, doesn’t appear in Replays. We’re also looking into updating this to make sure it reflects correctly when viewing these replays. If there are situations where the additional wave of troops or signal flare doesn’t work correctly outside of the known issue here please let us know so we can investigate further.

What’s Next

We are still investigating the rest of the Committee Bonuses to ensure our hypothesis is correct, but we believe that all of these bonuses just don’t appear when viewing a replay or within a friendly challenge. In our repeated tests, we can confirm that these do activate appropriately, but in the case of the aforementioned Bonuses, there are visual aspects that are missing. While we continue to research that this is the case, if you come across any other specific instances where something doesn’t appear quite as it seems, or if you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to our CS team or in our Report a Bug forum topic here.

I disagree that explosive sniper towers are working at all, regardless of the intended effect being a very tight radius. I screen record most of my attacks as I’m doing them.

I have recordings of troops stacked right on top of each other that only one unit takes damage from sniper towers- never have I seen multiple units take damage from sniper towers.

Additionally, “spawn time near wonders” is the other one I’ve investigated with the same standard. They also do not work.

Video is zoomed in to better focus on the troop, so you don’t see the action bar from a live attack. If you look along the right hand side you will see the words “National Trade Good”, that only appears while you’re doing an attack and not in replays.

None of them work rate of fire for balista and silo, defender attack speed

and if what is Saud is true this is.the biggest rip off in game history of any game
1 pack gold cards 44.99 or 3000 crown so 30ish dollars you buy all available 16 is your looking at 600$ then re roll the epic to choice 18000 crown 140$ say you got 6 epic from 16 packs thats over 1600$ now with committee you thr players re did the purchase process and based on this report the effect is so weak you can't even see it nor feel it as an attacker ??????

so either it's a scam.the entire time and wasn't worth the cost or it's broken

fix the god damn replays then!! We have been asking for it for years now

BHG simply does not have any credibility cause we have seen so many times how bad your testing is. Half of the committee is not working. That's a fact. I do not care if you claim that it does and the replays do not show it. This is bad for your business!

they are testing in a controlled environment not.linked to the actual game.what they need to do is make a bhg team and play for a month and let.them get our frustration when your team faces them they can't take glory and you get 15 glory this is how it should be tested

they could create 20 Drone bases with full epic council and perfect museums and get a real test of all the broken things

i just did another test… that last video was from January 26th before the most recent update.

Now explosive sniper towers are working!!!!!

This changes everything… now I need to retest spawn time near wonders 🤔

it looks like to me the soldiers at the farm kind those troops the sniper shot come after
At the start of the video I dropped infantry. Before they reached the farm, they were hit by the sniper tower. 1 Infantry was killed from the shot and the rest took Area of Effect damage.

This is important because….

That means the explosive damage is not as strong as the sniper tower. It’s either A) a fixed number (like the exploding decoys) or B) only inherits a percentage of the sniper tower damage, something like 25% or 50% 🤷🏻‍♂️

And why do we need to find out ourselves and not have bhg tell us the details as it should have been in the first place??

Oh it's certainly a percentage, explosion isn't enough to kill other units.

@Harlems369th the exploding sniper tower really means splash damage from.snipwr towers ? thatd two totally different things69tid the units used were say mortars with higher hp the damage wouldn't have even hurt them not worth a couple thousand dollars to make that work no one in Drone age uses soldiers as war attack they use mortars helicopter fighter transport and artillery this buff is useless and was very poor in description misleading to be blunt
