I'm going to assume this is a response to my post above, so I'll clarify. I don't mind healthy conversation and feedback, it's absolutely necessary to improve a product/game. That said, what is really annoying is the rhetoric of some of the criticism, it's getting out of hand (including some of your posts above^). If it leads you to get so frustrated then move on. It's the same story...in the early stages of this game there were other issues and other gamers with similar hostile rhetoric, eventually the issues get resolved (sometimes it takes a long time I know...) and the players move on because they realize it's just not the game for them because they'll just find something else to b$%^& about. It's not worth the stress for you, it's a game and supposed to be enjoyable, if it's not then that's an indication it's time.

Nexon is here to make money - just in case no-one has realised that by now. Why are some people so incensed when they change something that might entice others to spend money????????
In fact, all these complaints are based on what people ''think'' the changes will represent, how about we all wait and see? Other changes have incensed people before and yet the world didn't explode!!
No, the game went on and people kept playing! :D

I can address the reason why there are 2 forums for you. Its not uncommon for games to have separate forums and or language specific sections that cater to each respective community. Also, this helps in keeping the forums more cohesive with less language mixing on threads. Personally, I feel that this works as I've yet to see someone enter rage mode telling someone to speak English only like I've seen on other forums and game chats (PC MMORPGs get it the worst). Hope that clarifies this one for you :)

Nice to see the Nexon employees finally contributing to this thread, even if it is under the guise of being a regular player. Well played :p

It's an assumption to think the stronghold can be sabotaged and won't deploy troops immediately upon destruction like the UN wonder does.

Because I am free to criticize the bad aspects of the game with the hopes that maybe, just maybe the criticism will be listened to. You sound like the typical Trump supporter who says anyone that criticizes Trump or his policies can just leave the country. maybe the red in your name is short for redneck.

Red - most of the posts here are simply criticizing the fact that Nexon has been focusing on ONLY the revenue generating features and not fixing long standing bugs or implementing long promised features like war replays. You may not like the rhetoric, but please explain why the revenue generating features work flawlessly, but everything else is either buggy as hell or not released as promised. Unless you work for Nexon, I don't believe you can defend that with a straight face. I am ok with the company making money. Just don't focus ONLY on new content, video adds, 3rd party offers for crowns, a stronghold building which will essentially force the purchase of troops cards, a $50 estate - shall I really go on?

Make your money, Nexon. But fix the bugs like trap blessing which was promised to be fixed weeks and weeks ago, and give us the features we keep asking for over and over and over again.

Gross! Let's not assume before anything is released. Instead let's make logical comments/thoughts that maybe they will listen to, instead of whining like little children.

As for the estate, does it shoot as invading troops? No.
Does Trump (who obviously resides there) help make your walls stronger? No.
Does it's rooftop pool distract invading armies who quit fighting and throw a pool party instead? No.

It does not help you on offense or defense. It's the same f-ing thing as buying crowns to speed up projects except it is a one time investment.

Negative Nancies everywhere!
Jeesh!

Can we get back to complaining about the important things like sandbagging, matchmaking, and stalemates?

Priorities, people!

If you are referring to me, I am not a regular player...I just blow my mouth off on the forums. But the pay gets me my cigarettes, and then my friend Trump and I smoke as we talk about destroying this game...and the whole country. It's so simple, you have no chance and it's not getting better, time to quit.

Fully understandable, but can you then still explain why the korean forum does seem to get consistent announcements about events, and this forum does not?
In a previous excuse you mentioned "Due to timezones they might post something earlier", but that doesnt explain why we dont get announcements at all.

If you are not a regular player Red, then respectfully your comments in this thread have even less relevance than they already did. Those of us who have invested much time and money into this game undeniably have more to be frustrated by. Casual or non-regular players such as yourself likely aren't competitive in world wars (I am in a top 50 alliance that I have been in since almost day 1 of the games introduction). casual players have casual perspectives - it's not the same. But keep playing casually. I'm sure I have farmed you for lots and lots of food and gold (not sure if you even have oil since you don't play that much).

Could you PM a few examples? This will help me in providing information. As for events, I can start posting them on the forums but I do feel its redundant when they're displayed in game (inbox) and all over social.

I'm sorry, but no I'm not going to PM a few examples. Comparing this thread: https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexo...l-discussion-aa/555344-any-sales-this-weekend to the Announcements section of the forum should provide sufficient examples. For some reason the Korean forum is receiving notifications BEFORE a discount event starts and we are getting NO notifications.

I dont feel that any announcement prior to an event on this forum would be redundant: The last two discount events were only communicated by in-game pop up upon log in, no mail in inbox, and I dont use facebook (and I feel it's quite weak to direct your players to an external platform for in-game matters). The in-game pop up I disregarded right away assuming it was another troops sale, shortly after I realised I was wrong and I had to ask my teammates if they maybe caught the message.

And yes, that edit of yours is exactly what I (we?) are asking for, just a day late ;-)

I frequently don't get the in-game message or even the popup for several hours after the event started. Not having anything posted on these forums means there is no way to know it's active. However, the Korean forum has the info WELL in advance of the event, which really helps players plan. This gives the Korean players an unfair advantage, imho.

redprince, I wasn't commenting to u directly, but yes u were in the mix. I don't get heated over the game, I actually expect to be unfulfilled now. I simply play the game less and spend less, thats my "real" form of anarchy. My posts r usually direct and to the point, even if I don't agree with a person's opinion I respect it enough to leave it alone.

@Negative Nancy haters...last I checked this is a forum...forums have all sorts of diverse ppl and different opinions/comments, right? When u respond to a person's own opinion, unless you've walked in their "shoes" and experienced everything that they have...what makes your opinion better than someone else's? I'd rather let the devs know WHAT they can improve on (and let's be honest...there's a ton) then praise them for evolving the game like any developer IS SUPPOSED TO DO, right? I think most ppl r mad because of the route Nexon has gone. Is Nexon out to make $...duh, but when there's problems that date back almost 2 years that haven't been fixed...really?
Fact is venting on a forum is (for some) the last ditch effort to challenge change before ppl quit. If u don't lIke or agree with what someone posts...cool, but at least their rants of displeasure r being noticed...well I certainly hope so.

Feel free to comment and let us know if there are topics you’d like to see covered in future State of the Nations posts and/or Design Spotlights.

I am confused at that message Brian, does that mean u will respond or ignore it completely?

Nb4powerup
Can we expect any communication with Brian or whoever in the future? Would make it easier to know so ppl don't waste their time addressing something that no one will actually respond to. Ty

Hi! At times, (due to different time zones) they've posted around 12 hours in advance. We're looking into ways to make sure that communication is improved here as well. For now on, I will be posting the event information on the forums first thing when I get into the office on the day of the event. Also, the event starts at the same time for all regions regardless.

We'll the event started at 7am this morning so it's not a day late, unless you're meaning that NxK posted beforehand (when that happens its normally about 12 hours from what I've seen).

As for the last few inboxes not appearing, it seems that the proverbial ball was dropped on this one and its something that my team noticed as well. We're making sure that this doesn't happen again.
