Decoy lag again, sorry TinSoldier!

To be clear, we are aware of the lag caused by deploying multiple uses of Decoy, and are working to fix it (and to design new features with this in mind.)
I opened a new topic because i'm not sure you really know what causes the problem with decoy.
It's not how many decoys are deployed the problem! But where they were deployed. I can deploy 8 decoys at the same time in an open space where defenders can easily reach, whithout any lag at all. But when decoy is trapped in a building/walls/closed square and defenders can't reach it... then one single decoy freezes the game even on the most performant device.
I am not an IOS user, so i can't speak about Apple devices, but i tested it intensively on many android devices and it's the same on all of them.

​​​​​​Also it depends on number of defenders! if I deploy decoy in somewhere with access to gates in all sides, if a large number of defenders went for it (include TC defenders & Stronghold building defenders & also a few of spawning defenders) then lag happening as well!

​​​​​​It seems still after a year they're not completely aware of it and underestimated it! even with deploying one decoy the screen freezes....currently am out of wars only only due to this the worst lag!

I am sure TinSoldier responded this sentence only due to calm us down!

He was saying more like it's a new issue... oh man it's been around a year now we are struggling with this THE MOST SERIOUS ISSUE in entire the game and still you saying you are aware of it and working on it? come on say the truth!
If your team were ABLE to fix it then it MUST be fixed long time ago!!

Why you guys would like to close immediately topics without giving us a logical response or a fix for it? Like CS in game they closing every conversation without any care, any logical response!

TinSoldier, please ask of dev team or anyone who are exactly working on this lag (if you are right as you said) and then tell us the approximate time to fix this the most serious issue or any report of progressing? could you please? I begging you to do this!

TinSoldier alluded to an upcoming fix for decoy in a recent post. With CWA release now imminent I'm sure their priorities are focused on testing that.

Decoy may also be fixed upon CWA release if I'm readling between the lines correctly.

Which would suggest it's not a decoy issue, per se, but a concentration of 'game data' issue?
When the decoy is dropped everything happens at once: decoy activates, troops converge, towers shoot at it, etc. It's similar to my post about the game crashing when there's a lot happening on screen. (especially TC/QV).
Didn't want to hijack your thread, I thought this might help expland on your point. :)

Because like Manifesto said it is probably not a Decoy issue but a general coding one ;) Yup, the problem is how the game is dealing with big amounts of dats.

My only one question : is it also happening on iOS version of the game ? iOS developpers are forced to call native OS functions and generally you get waaaay better optimized games that run faster this way, meanwhile Android allows a more... freestyle programming (sometimes resulting in games that even not yet invented ultra-high-end devices still can't run smoothly ^^).

It seems to be an Android issue. This last war i used friend's iPhone as a hotspot since I had no Wi-Fi for my Android tablet. And no lag. Same tablet not using iPhone hotspot and major lag. This really sucks bad.

Prime, I've tested many different ways of connecting with lowest ping, but still lag occurs... it's not related to the type or ping of your connection at all!

as far as I noticed till now there are 2 main reasons for this serious issue :
1. When a large number of defenders (maybe its due to increasing hp or number of defenders) went for it, then lag occurs and screen freezes until defenders wiped out.

2. When there is no path for defenders to reaching to decoys, then screen freezes until end of the decoys.
But seems 2nd reason its not only due to decoy! someone said somewhere when he dropping troops from TH or transporter in somewhere with no path then screen freezes same like decoy! as I'm in IA then can't test it (surly you can), but if it's right then it is not only related to decoys! it is an universal issue!

It'll gives us more incentive & hope when there is even a response from the team, but when there is nothing it means the game team doesn't care bout their costumer's suffers & concerns!
So it is much more better if you response even a simple sentence instead deleting or closing topic without any logical response, info or fix!
I'm sure it's not hard to bring for us an approximate time to fix or more infos about as well!

Currently some of my allies included myself are out of world wars only due to this serious issue, am sure there is many other people are out of wars for the same reason!

we'll be more patient if you be honest with us and give us honest and logical responses!
I know this is complicated programming for fix this very serious issue (its worthy if someone nonstop working on it) and be sure we'll understand if you tell us we are not able to fix it in approach future (however it would be the best gift for the Christmas if you provided)... then there is other solutions for substitute such as temporary solution like taking back sabotage to 1 tactic space or design a new tactic... then the game will enjoyable again!

Just be honest!
We are waiting here for your response!
