Defensive Blessing Overhaul

I really hate it when I put down a Storage Blessing or a Trap Blessing, and all I get are players that feel the need to have me waste my 8-16 Trade Goods used to put them down. I would imagine that a Storage Blessing would be called down in the case of a full wipe and they had full storages. Or when someone goes super try hard to do the bare minimum required to use up my other defensive blessings. In short, the player is not getting his or her goods’ worth. Rant over, here’s what I feel needs to be done:

Fortification, Tower, Air Defense, Defenders Blessings: A base has to have 33% of Damage dealt to it to use up.
Trap Blessing: A base has to have 33% of the traps used in battle to consume a use. Regardless, the traps would be re-filled.
Storage Blessing: A base has to have 33% of the available loot stolen to use up.

These Changes I believe would help players get more mileage out of their defensive blessings.

or if you really want to go out on a limb. How about letting the players set the threshold for what triggers the blessings. i could imagine an option to click on the blessing on your base and a slider bar 0-100% damage/traps/etc. pops up and you can slide it to whatever level you'd like.

for storage blessing that is good because it is just a one time use

but for other defensive blessings, they are in effect for every battle until they get removed. looking through my defense log, 7 out of 46 attackers have reached 50% destruction. should i really get so much use out of blessings?

I think the suggestion is to keep them single use ( or 3 for traps ) but just changing the trigger threshold. If they aren’t triggered they wouldn’t have any effect on those battles

ah trap blessing is also ok because it has a set number of uses (although do we really want traps to not rearm itself if only 49% are triggered?)

but other defensive blessings are always active until removed. because storage and trap blessings kick in after a battle but something like a tower blessing has to be active during the battle

Haha. I love trolling bases with a half dozen or more defensive blessings laid out. I will go out of my way to trigger those everytime if i'm using foot soldiers. It happens to me when I put them up, so circle of life and whatnot.

50%? Ridiculous. You would make raiding absurdly difficult in all forthcoming ages with as jacked up as late game defenses are. It's already going to be interesting enough when atomic bases become the new floor whenever the next age arrives, if the offense/defense balance continues as it has. Take solace in the multiple times people already just hit next when they see a bunch of defensive blessings and deal with the aftermath of someone like me wandering by.

I'm a bit of a troll too, while I'm dropping medals I love abusing Generals. I normally drop 2 French tanks in front of a castle and......, let the unnecessary killing of Generals begin! 😎😄😊

No. Conditions have to be set. Otherwise, they’d increase the Trade Good costs.

You might have a point. Considering how cheap some of the defensive Blessings are, I have reduced the threshold; hopefully I have reached a compromise.
