Is it time for auto age players to have a second oil refinery?

Instead of wasting resources, I would like to suggest a second oil refinery in auto age.

The 10,000-20,000 increase in oil storage that comes with upgrading the oil refinery doesn’t cut it anymore at higher ages.

I understand that oil was initially designed to be a scarce resource in the game. I remember when looting a couple of thousand oil in one raid was a big deal—not the case anymore. People can max out their oil storage now in a few raids. I believe it’s about time to add a second oil refinery.

That's not a bad idea. A new refinery would be much appreciated. It would distribute resources and greatly increase storage capacity, which would be great.

However, I still hope that a new feature will be implemented into the game. We are going through eras where oil is no longer a unique resource. Introducing new forms of energy would bring something truly new to the game and would follow the evolution of the drone, automation, and robotics era.

I agree with all the previous “speakers”. Introducing a new type of energy resource for Higher Ages would be a very interesting idea!
But! Only after all the long-standing requests of the players in the game are implemented, and issues and bugs are fixed.
Enough with the innovations - it's time to tidy up what's already in the game!

Another solution would be a resource exchange system amongst alliance members, which people have been asking for years.
Failing that, BHG could, if they wanted to, make oil exchanges more attractive via the VIP store.
Otherwise a 2nd refinery would be great from a mostly-upgraded, happy-to-be-looted Auto Age pov.

All of these ideas sound good to me and can be implemented in addition to a second refinery lol.

I have also seen many requests asking for the possibility of using oil to upgrade walls, but BHG doesn’t seem interested.

Don't think so. We already have Looted Resources Refund, at all times I have 150K+ minimum Oil sitting in my defence log which is basically another Oil Refinery with some gold and food added on top of that.

That’s exactly the reason why I think we need at least double the storage we have now (a second refinery)—to store the extra oil obtained from (1) the looted resources refund, (2) the vault interest, and (3) raiding other bases.

Now I understand that the oil obtained from (1) could just sit in your defense log until you need it, but sometimes it is wasted if you had to use some of the food or gold refunds while your refinery is at capacity.

Additionally, the oil obtained from other sources such as (2) & (3) just goes to waste. Of course adding extra storage will not absolutely solve the problem, but will at least minimize the waste.

That’s why I think it would be nice to have some extra oil storage at auto age (I understand that wasted oil is probably not a problem lower age players would normally have).

@Der BabyHund I disagree. After they bumped up the Oil and resources bonus even with my Industrial account getting resources and Oil became so much easier, I'm full with Oil across all of my accounts.
