Greetings Leaders,

DomiNations Update 12.5 makes a large set of changes to Coalitions and Spying. We’ve made adjustments to nearly all of the Coalitions for World Wars and made Spying much easier for those who have the ability unlocked. We’ve also added the next wave of upgrades for those in Automation Age, and implemented a button to quickly cycle through your defensive buildings!

Without question, Coalitions can often turn the tide of your World War battles for the better with stat boosts alone. The Coalition Troops that are included aren’t necessarily at the forefront of your World War planning, but that doesn’t mean they should be an afterthought in the ever-changing landscape of DomiNations. For 12.5 almost ALL Coalition Troops received buffs or changes in Bonus Damage Targets!

Auto-Spying

As part of our quality-of-life improvements to the game we’re taking a look at a small but extremely helpful part of World Wars, Spying. Before this update, players with spying (unlocked through the Harriet Tubman research path in the University) would have to tap the Spy button on the opposing army’s base sharing the same number as you. Doing so would reveal information about that base to help you or your allies pick the best strategy to counter their defenses. But if you forgot to press that button, there would be no information available to your Allies.

That all changes with Update 12.5, and some of you may already have noticed the feature was live ahead of the Update release! So long as you have Spying unlocked the opposing base sharing your number will have their information revealed at the start of the planning phase.

We’ve certainly heard your feedback, and don’t worry, this is NOT the last time we’ll be updating Spying. We’re currently planning some larger changes to Spying, such as finally implementing Council and Manufactory information to your Spy Reports. While that’s still further out from being ready, we’d still love to hear your feedback on other changes you’d like to see!

Additional Updates

  • Added a ‘next’ button for Defensive Buildings.
    • This will function similarly to the Traps and Caravans’ ‘next’ button. This will help quickly find those lower-level buildings as you rise through the Ages and your bases become more complex! Personally, we didn’t like having to tap each building every single time and have to search for a specific one.
    • Are there any other quick buttons like this you think we should implement? We’re open to your feedback on other ways that we can streamline your play experience!
  • Updated visual building quality for Automation and Drone Age Buildings
    • Updated these buildings with higher definition visual quality to better align with earlier Age buildings.

Stop asking for more loadout and renaming.
Many players getting empty museum in wars and they don't even know it.
It happens after they left an alliance to join another alliance.
They see their war museum loadout fully setup, but opponents see his museum being empty, and indeed it's empty (not Visual glitch)
Hopefully they know the solution which require them to reset their museum loadout.
Only way to confirm it's good is by asking Opponent.
 
Stop asking for more loadout and renaming.

If you read the rest of my suggestions you would see that I asked them to fix the existing bugs.

I don’t know how you magically came to the conclusion that more loadouts and renaming is going to create a problem that you yourself say already exists. Common sense is indeed not so common after all.

I said it before and will say it again asking for new features and fixing bugs are two separate issues. They are NOT mutually exclusive. We can and should ask for both.

So yeah I will keep asking for more loadouts and the ability to rename them. If they ever implemented these features, feel free to not use them; last time I checked they won’t be mandatory.

Now, OP asked for QOL suggestions and I gave them some. If you wanna whine about bugs, you can make a post under BUGS AND KNOWN ISSUES.

How about having walls be attached when put together diagonally, it would make really interesting bases

I want a quick reach button for event rewards section. Some events lasts longer and their reward lists also too long to scroll sidewards. Like 20 days long seasonal event and i have to slide the list to reach the last reward.
 
they have updared most of the coalition troops they may as well have updated the rest.

and for defensive they need to diversify where they spawn. the toa and chariot spawn in the forest and others could come from the command post
 
QOL updates:

1) Reduce Missile Silo to 3 civilians per upgrade.

2) Reduce Garrison and Tank Depot to 4 civilians per upgrade.

3) fix the assistance option for university time speed up as it disappears after you close the app.

4) More rewards for collecting council cards for the first time as most people can reach 20k crown reward easily now.

5) Revamp of all nations bonuses and new nations with bonuses to tanks, planes, and other units.

6) add more troop space to barracks. Extra 5 per barrack.

7) More Library trees for Manufactory and other type of research.

- more production per timer
- every 3 days, get a free random Manufactory item made.
- add extra bonuses to Manufactory levels.
- add synergy bonuses to bases with certain combo of Manufactory items per unit or defense building.
 
QOL updates:

1. The missle silo and many buildings should retain 4 citizen max for their build and we have been asking for more council rewards and committees too.

2. we have been asking for nation boosts for a while and no new nation till they fix the others and the bugs too
3. For the barracks the factory and airstrip should provide 5 extra space for each of them here so you get 2 factories and airstrips so that gives you 20 extra troop space
 
More QOL updates:

Coalitions:
- Make coalitions defenders spawn from different buildings inside your base such as the command post.

Forest defenders:
- Make forest defenders spawn from different forests simultaneously and not from the same spot.
- Another idea is changing forest defenders by adding more cavalry/tank defenders at first spawn from stables/tank depots.

Auto-Spying

As part of our quality-of-life improvements to the game we’re taking a look at a small but extremely helpful part of World Wars, Spying. Before this update, players with spying (unlocked through the Harriet Tubman research path in the University) would have to tap the Spy button on the opposing army’s base sharing the same number as you. Doing so would reveal information about that base to help you or your allies pick the best strategy to counter their defenses. But if you forgot to press that button, there would be no information available to your Allies.

That all changes with Update 12.5, and some of you may already have noticed the feature was live ahead of the Update release! So long as you have Spying unlocked the opposing base sharing your number will have their information revealed at the start of the planning phase.

We’ve certainly heard your feedback, and don’t worry, this is NOT the last time we’ll be updating Spying. We’re currently planning some larger changes to Spying, such as finally implementing Council and Manufactory information to your Spy Reports. While that’s still further out from being ready, we’d still love to hear your feedback on other changes you’d like to see!

Additional Updates

  • Added a ‘next’ button for Defensive Buildings.
    • This will function similarly to the Traps and Caravans’ ‘next’ button. This will help quickly find those lower-level buildings as you rise through the Ages and your bases become more complex! Personally, we didn’t like having to tap each building every single time and have to search for a specific one.
    • Are there any other quick buttons like this you think we should implement? We’re open to your feedback on other ways that we can streamline your play experience!
  • Updated visual building quality for Automation and Drone Age Buildings
    • Updated these buildings with higher definition visual quality to better align with earlier Age buildings.
I would love to see the Storehouse Shipments have a Quantity button added so if I want 20 shipments I can just enter quantity 20 rather than go through the tedious task of adding one shipment at a time and all the “button pushing” that goes along with each individual selection. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY, PLEASE!!!!

Sure, sure - but first we need a Collect All button for event rewards, especially the season event with it's 50+ rewards.
And that's also needed for items in our inventory. Currently sitting on an assortment of cards totalling 169 - potentially 507 taps. (waiting for a few weeks for them to open then I simply tap the Clear buttons)
If you don't want to do this then at least get rid of the unnecessary time-wasting animations!

But after that we need an improvement to the Museum interface to view, sort and sell cards directly from the crafting screen. (a very old request). A simple swipe option would also be welcome from the same screen to view them in sequence. If not doable, then the same options from the storage screen.

ps: keep the animations but give us a Collect All button!
 
Can you please add a “craft and sell all” button to the museum. When I build up 10k+ tablet fragments it takes forever to craft, sell, craft, sell in order to gain enough blueprints to do anything. I have all the artifacts I want so I’m not keeping anything new I create at this point
