DomiNations Update 12.3 - Quality of Life Updates

Greetings Leaders,

The team has been extremely busy leading up to this update! We’re implementing more quality-of-life improvements to Alliance Speed Ups and Resource Drops. For those at Automation Age, you’ll find our first wave of upgrades to some of your buildings. This update also brings in fixes for Museum Loadouts.

Alliance Speed Ups

Have you ever been torn between either contributing resources to helping out a fellow Alliance member with a speed-up or upgrading something of your own? Or maybe the speed-up requires a resource you don’t quite have yet? In update 12.3, Alliance Speed-Ups will now be completely free to assist, but that's not all; the speed-ups will also be more significant!

Asking for a speed-up will still be done in the same way; to contribute, the Assist button will no longer have a resource cost and will only require you to press the button to assist. This change will also update the Alliance Laws for Building, Library, and University Alliance Speed-Ups. If you’ve maxed out these Alliance Laws, this update will now give you up to 15 hours of Alliance Speed-Ups in a 24h day!

The first wave of upgrades for Automation Age buildings will come with update 12.3.

Museum Loadout Fixes

The team has been hard at work fixing the issues around Museum Loadouts. 12.3 introduces some of those fixes as they continue to monitor the situation.
  • Fixed an issue where Players could press ‘Edit’ then ‘Activate’ as the screen transitioned to the edit of a selected loadout. This would create an issue where you couldn’t save the edited Loadout.
  • Fixed the issue where an error would generate additional Museum Displays.
    • Fixing this also fixed where the game would crash due to a Loadout having more Museum Displays than possible.
While these fixes cover a majority of the issues surrounding being locked out of Loadouts, there are still some lingering issues the team is keeping an eye on. If you happen to run into any further issues regarding Museum Loadouts, please forward a ticket to our CS Team with as much detail as possible on the steps that you took to run into said issue.

We’re still investigating the issue where Loadout 1 is re-enabled after selecting another Loadout. We are aware that a one-off error can occur when trying to replace the Hermitage Museum, but in our findings, this only happens once and doesn’t happen to every player.

Additional Updates

  • Increased resource drops
    • We’ve increased the possible rewards that you can receive from various drops, including Oil Seeps, Fruit Trees, Gold Mines, and Hunting. This includes the possible finds after clearing a forest, and increasing Crown rewards for clearing debris! We wanted to make these feel much more rewarding as you expand your base.
  • Paratroopers that spawn from the Ejector Seat Munition will now reflect the same level of your Transport Plane Paratroopers
We’re still working on what we expect to be a welcome addition to the way you play DomiNations! Our next major update will be adding a new way to War against rival Alliances, we hope to bring you more information this spring!
 
Paratroopers that spawn from the Ejector Seat Munition will now reflect the same level of your Transport Plane Paratroopers. Are you kidding me? I don't have upgraded Transport because I use Fighters. Now will jump from my Captain's Fighter Mk6 "medieval" paratroopers? Very logical!
 
Server error
For selling an artifact from the museum I lost my account 5 days ago.
The server does not recognize my id.
Customer support operators stopped answering my messages.
I have sent more than 12 mails explaining the problem with video screenshots and all the information I was asked for and two days ago without any explanation they stopped writing me.
My account was created in 4/2017
I spent many dollars to improve it
One day due to an error of the museum the game was broken
I did everything they told me,uninstall and install the game and it works but when I load my data to open the account automated age simply the server can't open it
I can understand a problem with the game, a glitch but what I don't understand is why they stopped helping me without explanation.
My only solution is to tell my problem because I am not the only player with this problem.
I want to recover my account only
Fix the problem
The customer service is for 5 year olds really is very bad and inconsiderate they respond every six hours and one day they stop.
I am very annoyed with the game
7 years of playing and spending money and they don't give technical support.
I ask you to review my case

I have exactly the same problem with my alt account for 6 days. ( My main acc working normally)
My game doesn't load , the loading bar stucks to the right of the screen and my account never appears.

I contacted to CS, they asked enormous amount of questions, i answered and then, nothing... Quiet.

I sent again, and again. Nothing.

Hopefully they'll fix the problem soon.
 
@Harlems369th Does this update fix alliance speedups for the university?
They disappear before 5 players have completed them if the one asking for the speedup has left the game
The team is taking another look at this issue, any time that it happens please submit a ticket to the CS Team with as much detail as you can. I understand that this is echoed quite often but it is truly the best way to compile that information together to find a solution.

It also really helps when folks posting here have filled out their forum profile information in its entirety.
 
Any update on perk 23 causing drone to persist after drone building destroyed?

That seems to be quite a high priority issue that progressively gets worse as more and more alliances get to perk 23.
I currently don't have any update for you on this.
 
I have a valid thing that I feel would be a good thing to change and that is the stronghold donations during war. Is there anyway that you could change it so anyone from the alliance could donate and not only the allies in the current war.

The team is taking another look at this issue, any time that it happens please submit a ticket to the CS Team with as much detail as you can. I understand that this is echoed quite often but it is truly the best way to compile that information together to find a solution.

I am very surprised by this answer.
This bug has existed since the advent of parliament (4 years have already passed!).

Here is the sequence of actions to catch the bug, everything is extremely simple:
1) The player enters the game.
2) Presses a request to accelerate research at the university
3) The player close the game
4) Another alliance player after a couple of minutes clicks help in the chat (1st time out of 5) and then the request to speed up disappears.

Really, after 4 years, the developers still haven’t been able to reproduce this sequence?
I'm at a loss...

I wrote the same thing in CS, we are waiting
 
I currently don't have any update for you on this.
It’s been about 3 weeks now. As I originally commented this has progressively made a larger impact as more and more alliances reach perk 23.

If you still have no update on this then can you please emphasize the impact this has on your game to the team? The drone was never designed to stay active after the destruction of the drone building and is causing quite an issue.
