University Alliance Speed Ups either not working or disappearing

Description of issue: Alliance speed ups for university aren't working. I'm not sure if they don't work at all or if they disappear. I thought something was up but wasn't sure if it was me. So this last time I noted the time left on the research (only had one going) and it was just over 8 hrs. I logged on a bit later and it was only just over 7 hrs. I thought maybe just one person hit assist but when I went to check the alliance chat, the request was gone. So don't know if it didn't work at all or if it just disappeared after one click. I'll definitely check times and write them down this next one but I'm sure it's not working

Frequency of issue: Looks like anytime you request alliance speed ups for University. We should get 5 x 1.5 hrs.

It’s a known issue. No fix yet.

Any update from them on this? It's a nice benefit that over a week reduces research by over 4 days. Think it would be something they'd jump on right away.

Actually I think it got worse.

It used to be:
Request would stay active as long as you were logged into the game. If you logged off it would disappear after the next donation.

I think it is now:
Disappears as soon as you log off regardless if anyone donated.
Also disappears if you are watching videos or attacking. Only stays active if you are blankly staring at your base layout.

You are onto something but seems to be after so many donations. Just did it and got 2 donations so far. both were while I was logged out. It's still active at 2 donations and time did drop off of research (so that's working). I'm going to watch it to see if it works for 3 and then log off. Need someone to assist so not staring at this screen all day. I'll update what happens.

Weird replying to myself but this seems clearer. I got impatient and logged. When I logged back in there was one more assist (making it 3) and then it disappeared. Timer went down correctly also so it did take.

So appears to me that it's the third assist that causes the issue and perhaps when you are logged off. I'll try to stay online and see if I can get it to four then log.

Either way it is disappearing so hopefully they are going to fix it.

On March 6, I issued a ticket to CS (2037802), fully described the problem, and steps to reproduce it.

I had my request for an alt account disappear with no donations after logging off. Watched it from my primary account.

I have not had time to fully figure out if it was a once off or repeatable.
