I've only just switched nations from Greeks to British and now they offer a 50% discount on switching nations. Another dumb moment.

Could have been worse if they decided to nerf the British soon after.

Very true! Well, there's still time and as we know people like calling for nerfs on this forum. I'd like to see some buffs to some wonders and nations.

Well during the Bomber Event we have received 3 Bombers Extra and later then the Hangar... Until I had all 3 Extra Bombers unused it was OK. Then in the first close War I have deployed 1 and in the next one the second Extra Bomber. So I was left with one Extra.
And then I have trained one in the Hangar.
During the next mp battle I have realized, that the two Bomber icons are completely identical. Hmmm, I wanted to keep the extra, so didn't use any in that mp battle.
So then back home (while set the troops to retrain), I needed to figure out which icon is the Extra and which one is the "retrainable" Bomber. Then the light of genius shined over me and tapped both icons in Barrack view at the inventory. Above the 2nd Bomber icon in the inventory the green-red sign (info and drop) appeared, so voila - I have deducted - it came from the Hangar.

After congratulating myself for being Einstein again, went for the next mp attack. Easy opponent, did loose just minimum troops, still 1:20 at the counter and already at 95% destruction.
I said, every sec is important, just finish that house off in the corner and quickly released the 1st Bomber from the inventory ... The Extra one...

if you tap and hold the screen you can drop troops relatively quick .. works well when you have 30+ archers being deployed .. this also works for tactics ..

once i quickly tapped all my farms and caravans to harvest resources and accidentally touched my library to finish its upgrade by spending around 500 crowns, maybe more, i forget.

Had just bought the new starter pack.. was contemplating what I should spend a few on as I was walking upstairs with the game open in my pocket ... Settled in, went to finish an upgrade, only to find I had less crowns than before my purchase. I began fervently writing and angry note about the glitch, only to notice by base seemed so spacious all of a sudden. Pocket cleared a forest for 2700 crowns on my way up the stairs.. Doh

Just be wary when doing this in front of a TC - if an arty unit comes out - *poof* - no more troops. (yes the game actually makes that sound!) Also, if your troops are concentrated like this they're shooting one building at a time.

What I do is hold my finger down but slide from side to side and deploy my troops ''line abreast''. Not only does it limit the number of troops exposed in any one spot but your archers/artillery should now be shooting at multiple buildings at once. What might take 10-15 seconds to destroy 3-4 buildings can easily take half that time to destroy twice as many buildings. This is also a good way to get a head start on a quick victory if the TC is well protected.
Many ranged troops + spread out + shooting multiple buildings + all at once = delightful destruction !!!

Did you know you can even switch troops with one finger while continuing to paint with the other and stay in spam mode?
