The troop is a bit silly, though. Shouldn't do so much damage, and there's no good reason that the range should be so good. I suppose health should be in line with other elephant troops.

It is a tactic. It is new features for future event that is currently not available. But for some reason some people who opened up the Christmas presents for Christmas Event after the event has ended started to receive these new features.

Take it easy dude. Watch the vid. Those Elephants took down 1 general for me. I had plenty of time and army to take down the base even without those elephants.
