About time Barrack troops been updated. Great decision by the devs, maybe a little too late but nevertheless a positive thing.

Long ago during “The Great Rebalance” the developers said that barracks troops shouldn’t be viable in the later ages to be truly reflective of history. That there should be a natural progression towards factory troops in the later ages. Are you now saying that barracks troops should be viable in the later ages (global and later)?

is there another series of “reverse” rebalances coming?

The only Barracks troops that can and SHOULD be viable in later ages is MBT, artillery and helicopters - if Dominations wants to mirror real life warfare.

The main question is "How much of a buff are barracks troops gonna get?".
If we are talking about a 5-20% then it this will only help a bit those players that still use them and nothing more.
If we are talking about 100%+ then maybe they are viable in WW at the top 200

NO! Infantry and MBT are the basis of any army. Another thing is that it has nothing to do with this game.

We have been investing in factory troops for a long time and this source of income for BHG is almost exhausted. It's time to devalue the factory and make us pay for the barracks, That's the whole point of rebalances both past and future. I think your enthusiasm will decrease when you find that the old setup has stopped working.. whoops! Prepare your money..
But cheaters will get everything earlier and more.. whoops! Do you still want a rebalance, or maybe it's better to just throw the Eisenhowers out of the game?

Keeping players engaged and interested with new ways to play is a sensible part of the business model. There's nothing shady here, and no reason yet to think that currently successful troop compositions will suddenly 'stop working'. Now if the rebalance somehow makes barracks troops far superior to any factory troop armies, we'll have reason to be concerned, but I'm doubtful that they will push them that far. We'll see.
