Greeting Leaders,

We're back with another Road Ahead, where we look at what’s upcoming in the world of DomiNations! In this edition, we’ll cover Summer for the Ages and some of the new content you’ll see in the next few months, including Library, Council, Drone Directives, and more.

Our dedication to revisiting and updating some long-standing features within DomiNations continues. Earlier this year, we talked a bit about Tournament of Glory, and we hoped that we would have more to share regarding this change to Multiplayer. However, we’re still hard at work fine-tuning the details. We’re also evaluating what’s next in the quality-of-life pipeline, determining which smaller QoL updates can supplement the much larger projects. We aim to give you more information later this year regarding Tournament of Glory and what the Quality of Life roadmap looks like!

We hope you enjoyed all that our 9th Anniversary celebration had to offer! So many of you took immediate advantage of the Instant Building Upgrades and made the Anniversary one to remember. In case you missed it, we also hosted a Community War that asked all of you to use the Custom War feature! The participation helped us to pinpoint some fine-tuning opportunities to create a better overall experience in the future. However, just as soon as one event is over, we’re on to the big yearly event, Summer for the Ages!

Summer for the Ages
Everyone’s favorite summer activity is back; it’s Summer for the Ages!

Our Age Rush will kick off on July 1st, with 60% off building upgrades for all Ages from Classical to Drone. Discounts will drop to 50% for most of August and finish at 40% in September, so make the most of the most significant savings early on!
As always, Town Center upgrades will be instant throughout the event, so take advantage of advancing through the Ages.

We’ll also see a return of Marco’s Legendary Vault in the later months, so make sure you’re saving up those Legendary Tokens if there’s a rare Artifact you’ve got your eye on.

If you’ve still got some forests to clear on your base, break out the lawn mower; all forest clearing costs 50% less gold from 7/1 2pm EST to 9/23 2pm EST.

We are excited to announce an all-new community event called "Strength in Numbers." In this event, we will track a series of in-game goals that the entire DomiNations Community works to achieve! If the targets are achieved, EVERYONE will reap the rewards! Keep an eye out on our socials as we announce a new goal each month!

Upcoming Content

Library Expansion
Those who are truly studious can look forward to the expansion of Library Chapters this summer! Four new Books will be added to the Through the Ages Bookshelf for Leaders at Drone Age or higher. You can anticipate two Economy books, a Defensive and an Offensive book. We’ll give a full reveal of their benefits, as simply sharing the type of research these books cover doesn’t exactly tell the whole story of improvements you’ll be making later this Summer!

New University Leader
Gaining knowledge is an endless pursuit! As such, Automation Age Leaders can look forward to a new University Leader expected to arrive early Fall. This University Leader pioneered the efficiencies of modern assemblies. Because of that expertise, you’ll find that this Leader will complement the Manufactory very well! For those seeking a bit more out of their Munitions, this will certainly be a University path worth investing in. More information will be available as it arrives at the end of the assembly line in the coming months.

New Councilors
This year, we’ll continue to expand your selection of Councilors! Three are slated for the near future with the first, a Diplomat, expected to arrive at the end of July. Two more are currently planned for this year, one of which you may already be familiar with if you’ve been keeping up with your Legendary Artifact collections. We’ll have more information as they get closer to arrival at the end of the Summer and the third is expected to be released by mid-Fall!

New Legendary Artifacts
With the release of DomiNations Update 12.6, we teased three brand-new Legendary Artifacts. The first of which, Morse Telegraph, became available earlier this month! Two more are still on the way, one War and one Main Hall! Keep an eye out for their full reveals in upcoming Week Aheads.

New Drone Directives
Later this Summer, we’re bringing a new level to Drone Command. With it comes two new levels for both Offensive and Defensive Drones including an updated look, with two new Drone Directives to arrive! The Directives include an Offensive Directive improving the maneuverability of your Troops, and a Defensive Directive that reduces the effective range of enemies attacking your base.



This Summer, we’re giving a bit more to do for those of you at Drone Age and Automation Age. You’ll be able to quickly Age Up and upgrade with Summer for the Ages. We’re also planning what’s next in our ongoing pursuit of quality-of-life improvements, with big plans still on the horizon! What Legendary Artifact are you hoping to see hit Marco’s Vault during Summer for the Ages? We hear plenty of feedback regarding quality-of-life fixes, such as working on replays, but what is the number one feature you’d like us to focus on? Let the team know! We’ll be back in the Fall with another Road Ahead; until then, fire up the BBQ and enjoy the summer!
 
British Kettle Drum is a priority for Marco Chest. Please don't do a directive that nerf the range of troops, offense is suffering extremely with booster defenders and manufactory boosted bases and defenders already.
A new University leader and new library researches are very good additions to the game.
Please bring back the instant upgrades for economic buildings, it helps the pool of the upper ages especially Automation and Drone ages.
Councilors are now becoming add to track and plan with, Please add new reward and milestone to the councilor tab in the council.
A new wall level is need for Automation, resources are just wasting away.

Overall this is a good update.
Looking forward to the community task.
 
Add the Supermarine Spitfire Engine to Marco's event or market next month, it's a great war artifact. The game forgets to focus on all troops, only mortars, artillery and transport are capable of eliminating defensive bases. Something needs to be done to stop the mortars
 
what is the number one feature you’d like us to focus on?
I have 2 that I can't pick so hopefully you guys can choose - or implement both:
- Collect All button for everything. Weekly rewards, season rewards, councillor packs in Inventory, chests in Inventory.
or
- Instant Artifact Craft option. We select, say, 10,000 fragments and it grinds for 24hrs to produce x number of artifacts. There's so much that can be changed with the Museum but this would be a great start.

Please add more rewards to councilor collection. Also, more focus on offense. Defensive bases are getting tougher and tougher.
 
I don't want to be annoying, but promoting improvements according to needs, whether old or new, based on the evolution of the game is one thing. Fixing bugs, whether new or old, is something entirely different. Bugs are bugs; they shouldn't exist. Fixing them is not quality of life.

All bugs, without exception, must be fixed. Issues like battle replay, university speed-up requests, troop retraining, problems with viewing ads, among other things, must be corrected.

Implementing quality of life is bringing something new that makes the player's life easier, such as simplifying searches for TTs, reducing animation time, reducing the number of clicks to collect items from the inventory, grouping animals and other things when cutting the last forest area, continuously improving matchmaking, enhancing the museum experience like naming loadouts, naming artifacts, personalized organization for artifact management, increasing artifact font size, improving the experience of creating artifacts, allowing players to choose the destination of their ships at the shipyard, creating loadouts for advisors as well, adding the display of war blocking time for a new alliance member, etc., etc., etc.

I am grateful for all the improvements that have been made, as well as the enhancement of the events you are producing. However, I must point out that there have been issues for a long time that need to be corrected without needing to be requested by the play ers.

Needless to say after 9 years I would personally like a true battle list that shows everything that hit my base, that is not connected to AI replay system that is broken.

This should take priority over anything because of the doubt it puts in player base about War Battles. Just saying trust the war screen excuse is no longer acceptable. Knowing 💯 % if a War Battle is legit. Right now would be a good time for guy/gal in charge to give a us real fix for this problem.

Additionally stop to Ghosting Buildings ( by not updating war base after placing FSH and Hangars) and FSH extra space on defense or relabel building offense so they don’t get hangar at sametime.

Yes the non representative replays are annoying me everyday too, and would definately be my number one wish to fix.
How do I know how to set up my base for defense when I get attacked by 13 fighter jets in the replay for example.
Since that is already mentioned by your self, for QoL improvements I would like to see an easier way to convert museum fragments to blueprints.
Its ok the exchange rate is less good, but the current tapping hell for converting 1 item at a time is annoying. It takes 20 screen taps to converting the 475 fragments to 5 items and then blueprints!!!
For legendary items I would like to see The Art of War.
 
@Harlems369th can you suggest more rewards for collecting cards? As since the mythical packs I have yet to get another legendary it takes forever and when you get one to reroll is a fortune In crowns…

Change FSH to Offense building or Make the extra strong space available for defense. This is listed as a defense building yet does nothing really on defense it is cheap excuse to give Offense 2 active offense buildings instead of 1. Also make sure it is placed on war base before it can be used to stop the ghosting it. Same with hangars

Well my priority fixes are
1 - university speed up bug
2 - replay discrepancy
3 - collect all button for councilors pack
4 - new rewards for council milestone bcz I have never got single legendary council after that even after fusing thousands.
5 - shipyard or info and drone age should yield better rewards currently it's shit in armies plz do this , enhance rewards after digital age shipyard.

6 - increase the relevance of factory troops , well I'm fed up of mortar artillery strategy, people take victory of higher ages just like that , 5 star should be hard to grind, you must have a great strategy not overpoweredness of troops, make others troops come in equation, that's the case everyone used to have British nation with artillery then came commando strategy,heavy tank and this.
7 - it will be most controversial, well small teams that manages to do 15-15 war can hardly come to 25 alliance level no they can research all laws in parliament, it would take ages for small teams so plz decrease requirement little less so that small teams can also surge .
