Events : finished tasks but nothing to pick up

Hello, I and others have an issue with new events : we finish some tasks, these are shown as done.

Expected : instead of 5 tasks shown as done, there is now some reward. Click to collect a TTC or some speedup for example.
Happens instead : list of tasks remain as is.

It was announced in the 8.3 update:

Event Improvements

• Event Levels have been removed from future Events. You will still receive a Supply Drop every day that an Event is running but this will not be tied to an Event Level.
• Because of this, Event XP is now called “Leaderboard Points”.
• Collecting Leaderboard Points will continue to advance you in the Group and Global Leaderboards during Events.

I think that is something different. The supply drops used to increase in value as you earned more points. Now the supply drops are the same value every day. What the OP is saying is that there used to be a reward for finishing all the goals for a day, and now there isn't.
