Fix Cannons already

Hello everybody.I know this issue is not the biggest one,and some people wouldnt approve my suggestion but anyway.
The problem is with the splash damage of cannons,i suggest 2 things: 1st - remove cannons from donation table / 2nd - change/fix cannons attack to single target instead of splash damage.
I believe this is unfair because 1st - you barely notice the cannons spawning from town center / 2nd - their range is longest in the game / 3rd - they one shot your low hp units from twice their range and you cant event prevent it 4th - your airplanes cant help either...equals death to all your army.I've wrote 3 times through ingame customer support,but the guys doesent seem to care.
So my last chance is here,trying to balance something that is ruining the game.Everytime i attack someone im scared to attack the town because if there is cannon...there is death.So thats like i train my army for 1 hour and the cannon just kill it for 1 sec.Fair enough?

Think the game is generally unbalanced in favor of offense and really like having defensive cannons to balance this out. Just another challenge to overcome during attacks.

I don't like carrying barrage just to deal with cannons, it's just one tactic less. And it doesn't do any good if there are 2 cannons/artillery. I run into them occasionally in multiplayer, but in world war every Asian alliance have them.

Well that's just not true now, isn't it.

Completely agree with Cielmers! Without artillery on defense an attack in world war would be a walk in the park. It adds to tactical combat considerably. And yes, there are many ways to deal with them.

Cannons are fodder for defense but artillary on the other hand is out right attacking troop anhilation! Usually if our allies bring back word there are artillaries donated to TC. We use sabotage on TC to delay them spawning. Take out TC , goid bye defending troops.

We've run in to three 'Oriental' Alliances in a row and not a one has had Bombards/Cannons as defenders.

While I can agree with the posters here saying the challenge is good, I must say artillery is utterly and totally broken on defense. One artillery unit does far, far, far more damage than a mortar. This morning I missed the artillery spawn from the TC and the thing leveled me in seconds. If that's working as intended the developers are off their rocker.

My alliance (American, btw) loads up on artillery in every war. It keeps the playing field somewhat level. It's still just silly to be focusing on a canon or two as the major difference maker in an attack.
