Forget Zeppelin - New Zero Troop Attack

Not sure what to make of this - new bug or new exploit. But whatever attacked me took maximum gold, food & oil which is very rare indeed.

No replay, no revenge.

And yes I am pointing the finger at Korean alliances - they now have a reputation for hacking and cheating.

Confirming this isn't just a visual bug. I reported it in-game but I expect they'll just tell me it is anyway.

I've accepted that cheating will never be stamped out completely, but the ease at which new hacks and exploits are being made/found is troubling to say the least. Even some of the oldest ones haven't been patched.

OK.. According to CS it's because of the new 2.5 update - everybody is going to get the same until everybody updates.

I certainly hope that true Eddie, somebody in our alliance got a similar attack and lost 5 !!!! diamonds in one attack...

So far I see only 5 star victories with these empty sheets.

I've been attacked myself just 10 minutes ago, and that's seems normal to me...

My entire defense log shows zero troops now so I guess it must be a 2.5 bug. Revenge button is still there but replay buttons have all vanished.

This just shows how greedy the devs/producers are, They seem to have released an update with changed packet structure but seem to forget that Google and Apple arent synced and it takes different times for each company to push out updates.

So rather than implement a login version check for old versions they allow both new and old access to the server together rather than deny old versions access which would prevent this and much frustration to old version users...

Its all about the $$$ £££ €€€ here.

The attackers are probably using new units like the Zeppelin Mk II, which you don't have the art assets for if you haven't upgraded. And it's at least possible that they paid crowns to upgrade rather than hacking in the new units.

This is a result of the upgrade; it happens ever time there is a disparity between versions (i.e. before people are forced to upgrade). The icons for troops aren't displayed. Not a zero troop attack, fortunately.

In support of ironangel, I had a defensive victory (hard to believe, I know...) that showed no troops. But the troops have come and gone in my log over the course of the day. Strange, of course, but I believe it's an indication that the battle was normal (well the victory was abnormal, of course...).
