Friendly Attacks Army & Rubies

Hi,

two topics for this one:

1. It would be great to have the chance to be able to select the army while attacking one member of your alliance in friendly attacks. It happens most of the times that I cannot take an attack in our alliance chat because I don't have any army ready. As the units will not be lost, it would be great to be able to select any unit within the number of your army and attack.

2. Rubies: first of all it would be great to see how many rubies I have indipendently from the presence of Marco Polo. Secondly it would be great to be able to use crowns to buy rubies in case of need. For example there is currently marco polo with a legendary artifact that I cannot take because I don't have enough rubies.

I gave up on Marco Polo bringing troop chests so I bought 9 War Hall chests on 2 accounts and all I got was some blueprints and two 5 hour speed ups. Smh

Point 2 is already there, press info on your alliance gate. Rubies shouldn't be bought, something at least should be exclusively earned by a somewhat skill related part of the game (war). (It's a totally different question though that the rewards for those earned rubies are most of the time totally useless, sometimes outright insulting... that is indeed something that should change)

Point 1 is a good idea. Since friendly challenges are without stakes by nature, without losing troops, it would make sense not to be limited to your current army line up, but rather encourage us to try new troops and tactics. This is really a good idea, please consider it devs.

I could agree with you that rubies should be earned not via crowns, but if so, please let us have another source of income for rubies. WW are not enought especially when you loose 3 or 4 in a row.
Artifacts for example can be earned by selling artifacts themselves, from mp battles, there are free artifacts once a day...there are many ways to earn them. Not for rubies, this is what I mean,

i remember they mentioned expanding on rubies way back when. never happened though.

#1 would introduce too many bugs; namely folks figuring out how to get free troops for non-friendly means. That and the code base feels too fragile for something like this. So while I like the idea, I vote no due to the reality of the situation.

(1) While it seems like a fun idea, definitely a hard no to be able to switch troops up for friendly attacks. Already enough to deal to with and I can foresee huge bugs occurring because of this. Though oddly I feel like it it would introduce a way to glitch into the game. If you are a player that goes to war than you can do what my alliance does if they want to make it as real of an attack as possible. In general most players (At least more experienced ones are attacking with their raiding army) will have their war troop lineup when war is happening so just set your friendly challenges during war.

(2) If you allow people to buy rubies with crowns than you're doing away with the benefit of people helping their alliances in war. That would allow people who chose not to go to war (Or in some instances an't) to benefit from at least a skilled base part of the game (Unless you're a cheater). Granted the items that the rubies can by have been trash by comparison to the early days, it's still a tiny feature that at least gives some players a reason to raise their attacking skills as going against the easiest of bases yields less rubies. As far as the demarcations stone, you can certainly buy a better legenedary. I did have to buy 3 chests because I've been 99% maxed on rubies every week as I'm hoping troop chests or something interesting comes along. I know I got extremely lucky as I pulled a demarcation stone on the first chest which I sold for supplies since I got one the very first time it was available. I personally would like to see something, anything that is strictly rubie purchased. The troop chests are nice but it's not like those units can't be bought outside. Everything that can be bought bu rubies can be bought by crowns. The legendary can be an exception but they've had it for actually money which is nearly the same thing. I have no idea what the exclusive item would be but it would be nice.

Using crowns to buy rubies seems like backwards logic, marco polo normally has more troops available for crowns than rubies. Seems like it would make more sense to trade rubies for crowns.

The best logic is that Make Marco Polo Trade Everything for Only Rubies! Rubies, and only Rubies. No more soldiers for crowns, it's been placed on Sale Box already.

I'd even be glad if 100 rubies could be traded with 10 Scrolls
