I was just discussing this within my alliance and thought it was an interesting idea. It would be nice if you could practice attack your alliance members. Basically the thought is this you take your regular troops against their defense to test their defenses. Your troops would "die" on the battlefield and they would "lose" buildings and resources but once the battle is done you get your troops back and they get their resources back, neither side wins anything more then knowledge. Same as a normal attack the defender can then go back and watch the battle and can see how good their defensive ideas are. This would also allow the offensive player to test out a new unit to see how it fairs and what it is good against.

Thoughts?

Thanks!!!

everyone in my alliance wants this feature. also, would be great if you could attack your own base in test battles, that way you can find their weakness.

Mine too. Many of our alliance members have no idea how to attack a base, what to look for when attacking, and what to avoid. Not only that, but where to drop troops in certain locations too. Having an "open" chat window and unlimited timer would be a huge help. It would act as a "training grounds" for alliance members who are having difficulties and it could help improve people's bases' defense layouts as well. I really hope they implement this in the future.

I agree, i remember an old as facebook app game called Monster backyard that allowed players to build a certain building that when used would send waves, starting from basic troops and continue until you base was destroyed but at the start of every wave your base would reheal. this allowed players to find weak spots in defence, using this idea for alliances could be very useful! even just for practising new units. its a great idea!

this has been suggested several times before on this forum, but no one at Nexon appears to be listening... I'd even be happy if they allowed you to attack yourself to test bar layouts... but first they need to also allow us to save multiple base layouts with the map editor, so we have something to test.
