Game completely uninstalled after latest update?

The title almost says it all. Android device (Samsung s23 ultra). Automation age upgrade today. Played fine, but after I closed the game it completely disappeared from my device and I had to reinstall. Will my accounts be affected? Is this the return of the dreaded spinning arrow? Stay tuned...

After a looong reinstall, the game wouldn't start/finish loading on my first attempt to play. That's not too unusual, but still disappointing. Otherwise everything looks fine.
