game crashes more frequently since maintenance

I have noticed game crashes r more frequent since the last maintenance.

if this was the intention of the last maintenance it worked 😀

this is happening across our alliance...@Nb4powerup any words of wisdom? Why is game collapsing after maintanence? Is this just temporary?

My guess is we got a server update for a game update this week or next maybe even tomorrow just a guess our clients are running up to speed till new patch just my thoughts

Okay. Was worried it was just me. Had three 'Network Connection Errors' today. Once when Iwas scouting a base, once when I was attacking, and once just looking at my base.

Same problem here had two Network connection errors since maintenance while connected to a solid wi-fi connection. lost 65 medals so far

It's happening in all alliances we are currently in a war and have had 8-9 crashed/network error war attacks very frustrating

Contact CS so they can tell u there's nothing that can be done. But pls make sure u contact them!


I apologize for being negative, but I don't really c a shining light (or a desire to make their consumers not angry) with this game. And besides I do care, if I didn't I wouldn't be playing this game still, I'd just quit.

I just crashed 2 times in a row, and I have a war coming up in a few hours. Of course I reported it to cs, but I don't expect anything but canned response from some robot or an Indian guy in an offshore helpdesk center.

Any update on this would be appreciated. I too have a World War coming up and will put off my attacks if I think there might be a fix in the next 24 hours.

crashed 5 times in last hour lost over 70 medals.

Kindly stop taking medals when the game crashes

work faster to fix the problem, Nexon has been ignoring the problem for months in spite of multiple crash reports.

stop adding functionality until the crash problem is solved

currently it's pointless to play the game


can not contact CS through the in game CS,

meanwhile CS is responding with its robot out-of-the-box answers which really upset and irritate....
can't see it anymore "pls check your device and make sure"

Nb4powerup, if you ever get the chance to have direct contact to those guys pls tell them either to answer seriously to requests or don't reply at all. thanks

Hey GoldDS,

The network connection issue is a complex one. You have actual connection issues mixed in with whats been happening. As such, support tried to weed those out first to make sure things are not escalated unnecessarily. Think of it like this: You take your car to the mechanic and tell him you're having some electrical issues. He doesn't go straight to the wires but he checks the obvious stuff first, like the battery. Trouble shooting step by step till every thing else has been ruled out as the culprit.

Nb4powerup, with respect, I have spent my entire career troubleshooting complex software problems ... when a problem occurs the first area to investigate is ... what changed ?

in this case, Nexon made changes to matching making software ... the impact of the changes is a significant increase in crashes and network disconnects.

players devices and Internet connections did not change. nexon needs to focus on why changes to match making software has dramatically increased network disconnects and app crashes.

I think most players would feel better if they knew that nexon was investigating why changes to match making has led to an increase in network connection errors..

without knowing I would suspect the changes to the matchmaking software has increased the load on the server performance.

an easy way to test the theory is to revert the changes to the match making software and see if the problem gets better. if the problem gets better, then this is a clear indication that server performance is contributing to the network disconnect issues.

just my two cents.

BTW: I have stopped playing and buying crowns until the.problem is fixed

Agreed, some of the ppl that play these games (spoiler alert) might actually have a background in such software aspects in general.

Even Tim Train has apologized over the continued server issues. The excuses need to end. Here's some free advice @Nexon don't assume u r 100% smarter than the ppl that play your games, u might wind up looking like the fool.

To everyone that have suffered loss (yes it would b too hard to single out them on a trial by trial basis... so this idea would have to go to every player); whether it be medals, loot, troops, spells, etc. Why not write something to the effect of the daily league bonus boat? A 1 time option u can choose of say so many medals, so many crowns or so much loot as compensation for the months and months of problems?
