Game is not running smooth after update

After the update, my game and several others in my alliance have noticed that the game is running very choppy. Like the animations freeze for a split second and then pick back up again.

Has anyone else noticed this?

We've all restarted the app, even restarted our devices and it still does it.

With me the performance overall has dropped again as well. The chat and troop request thing is unreliable a lot, lots of lag throughout during normal play and during attacks.
nothing concrete enough to file a ticket for ("Please send a screenshot". "Of what, a screen that is lagging? :S ) but it is kinda contrary to the promised "reduced memory usage"..

I've always lagged (my aging Nexus 10 is not what it used to be) but it does seem to have gotten worse since last update.

Same with us.
At least 4 attacks that was completed and the player was shown the "summary" screen was not "transferred" to the battle log and war map.
These 4 attacks had to be repeated by a different player - costing us 4 attacks and prevented us from getting an stalemate.

just a suggestion, for Android you can try enable Developer Options, then go in and force gpu rendering, (use 2D hardware acceleration) to see if it improve on your machine.

I do confirm too. The screen loading times are improved, but there are more "stuttering" and "display delays" than before. Nothing that can be catched in a screenshot as this is a technical performance issue. Does this app have application logs that can be analysed by R&D ?
