Garrison building that produces archers!!!

It would be a great addition to the game if there was a garrison building that produced archers. Defenses are too weak in this game.

what age/level are you playing that you think defense is too weak?

I don't think thats necessary. My troops believe in death before towers as they deliberately move within range to sacrifice themselves for a quick death.

Why not just mix the Infantry regiments with the Ranged regiments to form some sort of Tercio unit that comes outside the Garrison (or some Salvo w/e)?
