The event sale is unclear.
Is his purchase permanent or temporary?
If permanent I will buy.
If temporary than as always I am not interested.

TinSoldier Good question. I'm guessing its temporary just a one time army like genghais khan. Could you clarify on this please?

For $9.99 for one time use is definitely not worth it. If it was a .99 or even 1.99 I'd give it a try. I remember when they sold ghengis khan for .99 a piece and I bought a bunch of them.

even if it's at a low cost, judging from it's stats it's not worth it, save ur money for ghenghis khan he is a much better option

I agree that, based upon previous history, it should be obvious to most people that this is a one time use item. What I do not understand though, is that based upon stats of previously sold, one-time-use items, who would pay $10 for old George?

I believe, that this is either accidentally, or more likely purposefully, misleading. I would be interested to hear from anyone who actually purchased this item, if they thought it was permanent, or one-time-use.

I came very close to impulsively just hitting the button, thinking that this was one of those Easter egg (or in this case Independance Day egg) items. These type of items are very common in many other similar type games. It was only after very carefully reading the language that I suspected it to be one-time-use. Still not 100% sure, and not wanting to miss out on what could have been a cool "gift" to longtime players, I came to the forum to see if anyone else had the same question.

You see, I have already been a sucker once and purchased the Aztec Temple for $14.99, thinking it was permanent. It did not say "Duration: 7 Days" like every other building like this (see screenshot, attached).

Before you say, "Why didn't you contact customer service?", I did. They told me to seek a refund through Apple. They even gave me very detailed instructions on how to do so, which were incorrect.

The bottom line is that I believed that the Aztec Temple was an accident. Now I'm not so sure.
Buyer beware! Make sure you know what you are getting for your money or save it for something else.

Yeah, definitely not worth. The price is mind-blowingly ridiculous. I'd probably pay 2 bucks, but 10 is beyond stupid.

paying anything more than free for a 1 time use item is a waste of money.

The only sales that are permanent in this game are:

Library Chapters
Starter Packs with Builder Houses
Estate
Instant Building sales when you advance to a new age, like the $34.99 Bunker, or i think i had a 64.99 air strip offer as well.

If the building isnt available to build normally through the game then its always temporary. All troops are also temporary.

Which is stupid. Their just turning off more and more of their customer base from spending anything.
Which is only forcing them to charge more to the ones who do pay which turns off more players from spending. The cycle just keeps on spinning till the game dies.

It can be donated to strongholds for defense! Insane! Pay to win gets worse and worse.

I guess they removed my attachments. A written description would be: 2 screenshots of the Aztec Temple description/statistics page, one before purchase and one immediately after purchase. The first one did not show a duration and the second one did - 7 days. Go figure.
